"America's Got Talent" Is the #1 Show of the Night on the Big 4 in Total Viewers and Wins Its Time Period in Every Key Measure

Wednesday Primetime Results:

NBC ranked #1 for the night in total viewers with the #1 show of the night by that measure, "America's Got Talent."

· "America's Got Talent" (1.8/6 in 18-49, 9.2 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) is the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 in total viewers and won its time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in every key measure.

· "America's Got Talent" is currently matching last week's 1.8 in these preliminary fast-national ratings in 18-49 and is running within a tenth of a point of last week's 1.9 in official nationals. Last night's "Talent" built by +64% on its lead-in from an 8 p.m. encore in both 18-49 and total viewers.

· "Taxi Brooklyn" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) tied "Extant" for #1 in the slot among ABC, CBS and NBC in 18-49, pending updates, and ranked #1 outright among those nets in adults 18-34.

· "Taxi Brooklyn" maintained its 18-49 rating of the prior two weeks (0.9), pending updates, and remained within a tenth of a point of its 18-49 series high (1.0). Versus "Camp" in this time period on the same night last year, "Taxi Brooklyn" is even in 18-49 (0.9 vs. a 0.9 on Aug. 21, 2013) and up +56% or 1.8 million persons in total viewers (4.928 million vs. 3.157 million).

· An encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 5.6 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) matched its rating of the prior two weeks in 18-49. The 8 p.m. "Talent" rebroadcast ranked #2 among the Big 4 in the time period in adults 18-49, total viewers and virtually all other key measures behind only CBS's original "Big Brother."

· From its first half-hour to its second, the 8 p.m. "Talent" encore grew in all key measures, including gains of +20% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.2 rating from a 1.0), +23% in adults 25-54 (1.6 vs. 1.3) and +25% in women 25-54 (2.0 vs. 1.6).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.6/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.9/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/4 with an encore.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
