ABC Airs Season's Top Entertainment Series and Leads with Upscale Young Adults

ABC Primetime 2013-14
Based on non-sports programming (to account for the inflated averages from sports/Olympics coverage), ABC finished No. 2 for the season in Adults 18-49 (2.2/6 tied w/ NBC), beating Fox by 10% (2.0/6) and pacing just 1-tenth out of a tie for first place with CBS (2.3/7). The Net held the No. 1 non-sports position this season with Adults 18-34 (tie), Women 18-34 and Women 18-49 (tie).
· Competitive Momentum: ABC took 1st or 2nd in Adults 18-49 on 10 of the final 12 complete weeks of the season, holding the No. 1 position on 7 of those weeks (L+SD). In fact, ABC closed out 2013-14 with its longest winning streak in 7-1/2 years (5 weeks in a row) - going back to the start of the 2006-07 TV season. ABC defeated NBC on 9 of the 12 weeks following the Olympics.
· Season's Highest-Rated TV Series: ABC aired 7 of the Top 20 entertainment series on broadcast TV this season with Adults 18-49 (more than any other net), including 5 of the Top 10 shows and the No. 1 drama with "Grey's Anatomy:" "Modern Family" - No. 3, "Grey's" - No. 3 (No. 1 drama), "Scandal" - No. 7, "Resurrection" - No. 9, "Once Upon a Time" - No. 10, while "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and "The Bachelor" tied at No. 16.
· Top-Rated Dramas Across Key Demos: ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" was the season's No. 1 broadcast drama in Adults 18-34, Adults 18-49 and all key Women (W18-34/W18-49/W25-54), "S.H.I.E.L.D." was No. 1 with Men 18-34 (tied w/"The Blacklist") and "Once Upon a Time" was the No. 1 drama with Teens 12-17 and Kids 2-11.
· Growing Returning Series and New Shows Improving Time Periods: In Adults 18-49, ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" (+4% - best season in 3 years), "Scandal" (+50% - TV's fastest growing returning show and best-ever season) and "Shark Tank" (+10% - best-ever season) were each up over their performances last season. In addition, ABC freshmen "Resurrection" (+81%), "S.H.I.E.L.D." (+72%) and "The Goldbergs" (+5%) improved their respective time periods.
· Top Draw with Upscale Young Adults: Among Adults 18-49 in homes with $100K+ Annual Income in the non-sports numbers, ABC finished No. 1 for the season (2.65 rating), beating NBC by 1% (2.62 rating), CBS by 6% (2.51 rating) and Fox by 25% (2.12 rating). ABC aired 8 of the Top 20 entertainment broadcast series (the most for any net) among high-income young adults: "Modern Family" (7.25 rating) - No. 2, "Grey's Anatomy" (5.37) - No. 5, "The Bachelor" (4.87) - No. 7, "Scandal" (4.62) - No. 9, "Resurrection" (4.10) - No. 12, "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." (3.71) - No. 14, "Once Upon a Time" (3.53) - No. 17 and "Castle" (3.40) - No. 19.
