"60 MINUTES" MAKES TOP 10 FOR THE SIXTH TIME IN SEVEN BROADCASTS
The CBS Newsmagazine Was Sunday's # 1 Program in Viewers
60 MINUTES made the top 10 for the second straight week, marking the sixth time over seven broadcasts that the CBS newsmagazine finished in the top 10. The program drew 10.48 million viewers to place #10 for the week, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for May 4.
The broadcast was Sunday night's #1 program.
60 MINUTES featured Scott Pelley's story on the controversy surrounding the BP oil spill compensation program and a double-length Lesley Stahl report on a landmark study on aging.
CBS News Chairman Jeff Fager is the executive producer of 60 MINUTES, America's #1 news program.
