Friday Primetime Results:
· An encore edition of "Dateline NBC" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 5.5 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) tied for #1 among the Big 4 nets in the time period in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. The 8 p.m. "Dateline" encore is also #1 outright among those nets in all key adult-female demos -- women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.
· An original telecast of "Dateline NBC" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 6.5 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) ranked #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in the time slot in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers. The 9 p.m. "Dateline" built on its lead-in from the prior "Dateline" by +20% in adults 18-49, +21% in adults 25-54 (to a 1.7 rating from a 1.4) and +24% in women 25-54 (2.1 vs. 1.7).
· "Hannibal" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) is currently up +29% week to week in adults 18-49 (to a 0.9 rating from a 0.7) and up +30% in total viewers (2.930 million vs. 2.247 million), pending updates.
· These are currently the top "Hannibal" results in three weeks, since the March 28 episode averaged a 1.0/3 in 18-49 and 3.5 million viewers overall.
· L+3 Time-Shifting: The prior week's "Hannibal" grew by +66% going from these next-day L+SD ratings to L+3 (to a 1.23 from a 0.74) and by 1.1 million viewers overall (to 3.3 million from 2.2 million).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.3/6 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.0/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.2/6 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.3/1 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/4 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's first-run "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
