Tuesday Results:
NBC is currently #1 Tuesday night in adults 18-49, led by the #1 show of the night, "The Voice" and a time-period win at 10 for "Chicago Fire," which matched its top rating since Jan. 7. It's a record 19th Tuesday win among the Big 4 networks for NBC this season in 18-49, adding to the network's record for most Tuesday wins among those nets in People Meter history (dating back to September 1987).
· With its first original telecast in three weeks, "Chicago Fire" (1.9/5 in 18-49, 7.0 million viewers overall) won the 10 p.m. hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and other key measures, and is currently equaling the show's highest 18-49 rating since Jan. 7. "Chicago Fire" is currently matching the 18-49 rating of its prior three original telecasts (pending updates) and is up 1% in total viewers (7.013 million vs. 6.956 million).
· It's the sixth consecutive "Chicago Fire" original to match or top its prior first-run telecast in adults 18-49, pending updates. It's also the sixth straight "Chicago Fire" first-run to finish #1 or tied for #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49.
· "The Voice 6" (2.8/9 in 18-49, 10.8 million viewers overall from 8-9:01 p.m. ET) ranks as the #1 show of the night in adults 18-49 and is #1 in its time period among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and other key measures. "The Voice" is currently retaining 93% of last week's 3.0 rating in these preliminary fast-affiliate ratings and 90% of last week's 3.1 in official nationals. In total viewers, "The Voice" (11.759 million) is retaining 99% of last week's 11.928 million in official nationals.
· "The Voice" grew substantially from half-hour to half-hour in all key measures, including gains of +15% in adults 18-49 (to a 3.0 rating from a 2.6), +15% in adults 25-54 (3.8 vs. 3.3) and +17% or 0.7 of a point in women 25-54 (4.9 vs. 4.2).
· "About a Boy" (1.8/5 in 18-49, 7.1 million viewers overall from 9:01-9:31 p.m. ET) ranked #2 in the time period among the Big 4 nets in adults 18-49, 18-34 and 25-54, as well as total viewers, ahead of comedy competition on ABC and Fox in each of those measures.
· "Growing Up Fisher" (1.5/4 in 18-49, 5.6 million viewers overall from 9:31-10 p.m. ET) finished #2 in the half-hour among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, 18-34 and 25-54, as well as total viewers, ahead of comedy competition on ABC and Fox in each of those categories.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.9/8; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.4/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.6/4.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "Tonight," 1.2/6; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/1 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.7/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
