DIY NETWORK WRAPS ITS BEST QUARTER EVER
New York [For Immediate Release - April 1, 2014] DIY Network, which continues to attract one of the most upscale audiences in all of cable, just ended its highest-rated and most-watched quarter ever, attracting 4.5 million viewers during prime time each week. In fact, the network's P25-54 prime time audience grew more than 17% over 1Q13.
Rehab Addict featuring break out star Nicole Curtis achieved a series high rating in January and was among several series driving the network's success. Other strong performers included Rev Run's Renovation, which attracted more than 4.4 million viewers in its first season on the network as well as the second season of the top-rated Building Alaska, which saw ratings growth of 67% over its first season. More recently, the fourth season of Vanilla Ice Projectstarted strongly, with its season premiere on March 8 at 10 p.m. garnering P25-54 ratings that were 50% higher versus year ago levels and 71% higher than the prior 13 weeks.
