Saturday Primetime Results:
NBC finished #1 among the Big 4 networks in primetime Saturday night in adults 18-49 and total viewers and ranked #1 or tied for #1 among those nets in all other key measures.
· "Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 4.8 million viewers overall) was the #1 telecast in the time period among ABC, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers and was #1 or tied for #1 among those networks in all other key measures. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" grew by 50% in 18-49 rating (to a 0.9 rating from a 0.6), 50% in adults 25-54 (to a 1.2 rating from a 0.8) and 28% or 1.1 million persons in total viewers (5.2 million vs. 4.1 million). "Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" matched its 18-49 rating of the last two weeks.
· In its four weeks on the schedule, "Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" has generated NBC's four top total-viewer results in the time period, excluding sports, in more than two years (since Jan. 21, 2012).
· A rebroadcast of "Saturday Night Live" (0.7/2 in 18-49, 2.6 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET), with host Lena Dunham and musical guest The National, ranked #2 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and #1 among men 18-49 and men 25-54.
In Late-Night Metered-Market Household Averages for Saturday Night:
· "Saturday Night Live," with host Louis C.K. and musical guest Sam Smith, averaged a 4.0/10 in household results in Nielsen's 56 metered markets and a 2.1/9 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with Local People Meters, making it the #1 telecast of the night on the Big 4 networks in metered-market households and 18-49 rating in the Local People Meters ahead of all primetime programs on the Big 4 networks in both categories.
