Tuesday Results:
· "The Voice 6" (3.3/11 in 18-49, 12.3 million viewers overall from 8-9:01 p.m. ET) ranked #1 for the night in 18-49 and finished #1 in its time period among the Big 4 networks in adults, men and women 18-49; adults, men and women 18-34; and adults and women 25-54. "The Voice" is currently retaining 94% of last week's 3.5 in these preliminary fast-national ratings and 92% of last week's 3.6 in official nationals. Last night's "Voice" grew substantially from its first half-hour to its second in every key category, including a gain of 0.4 or a rating point or 13% in adults 18-49 (to a 3.5 from a 3.1) and by 1.4 million viewers overall (to 13.0 million from 11.6 million).
· "The Voice" is #1 in the hour among the Big 4 nets by a 32% margin in adults 18-49 (3.3 vs. 2.5 or CBS's #2 "NCIS").
· "About a Boy" (2.0/6 in 18-49, 7.8 million viewers overall from 9:01-9:31 p.m. ET) has remained in the 2.0-2.1 range in adults 18-49 for a third straight week, with this track of originals since the show's first telecast on Saturday, Feb. 22: 2.2, 2.5, 2.0, 2.1, 2.0. Last night's "Boy" won the time period among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-34 and men 18-34.
· In total viewers, "About a Boy" is currently reporting its biggest overall audience in three weeks, up week to week by 2% (7.796 million vs. 7.609 million), pending updates.
· "Growing Up Fisher" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 6.4 million viewers overall from 9:31-10 p.m. ET) has remained in the 1.7-1.8 range in adults 18-49 for a third week in a row and last night's telecast is running within 0.2 of a point of the show's first Tuesday original. The "Fisher" track since that initial Tuesday first-run on Feb. 25 is: 1.9, 1.7, 1.8, 1.7. In the time period, last night's "Fisher" is #2 or tied for #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in ever key measure.
· "Growing UP Fisher" retained 85% of its lead-in from "About a Boy" in adults 18-49 and its last three retentions have been a steady 85%, 86%, 85%.
· An encore telecast of "Chicago Fire" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 4.0 million viewers overall) captured the biggest overall audience for a "Chicago Fire" rebroadcast since Dec. 26, 2012 (4.203 million). The "Chicago Fire" encore topped ABC's original "Mind Games" in all key measures.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.3/8; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.4/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "Tonight," 1.3/6; "Late Show," 0.6/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.6/6 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.8/5 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
