Network First in Viewers for the Ninth Time in 10 Weeks, Despite Competing Against Two Primetime NFL Broadcasts of NBC

CBS won Thanksgiving week in viewers, its ninth win in the first 10 weeks of the season, despite facing two primetime NFL telecasts on NBC, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Dec. 1.
The holiday week delivered season-high performances for 60 MINUTES, the penultimate episode of THE AMAZING RACE, THE GOOD WIFE and THE MENTALIST, as well as winning ratings from holiday specials RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER and GARTH BROOKS: LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS, which both placed first on their respective nights in key demographics.
CBS had 10 of the week's top 20 broadcasts in both viewers and adults 25-54 and nine of the top 20 in adults 18-49. NCIS: LOS ANGELES and PERSON OF INTEREST were the week's top two scripted broadcasts. CBS had the top four comedies in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 - THE BIG BANG THEORY SPECIAL (R), 2 BROKE GIRLS, MIKE & MOLLY and HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER.
CBS Weekly Highlights:
60 MINUTES
· 60 MINUTES (7:50-8:50 PM) delivered 18.09m viewers, 5.2/12 in adults 25-54 and 3.9/10 in adults 18-49. 60 MINUTES posted its best viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 deliveries since Dec. 16, 2012. Compared to the same night last year, 60 MINUTES was up +8% in households, +13% in adults 25-54, +18% in adults 18-49 and +12% in viewers. 60 MINUTES was the night's #1 program in viewers.
THE AMAZING RACE
· THE AMAZING RACE (8:50-9:50 PM) delivered 10.29m viewers, 3.0/06 in adults 25-54 and 2.1/05 in adults 18-49. THE AMAZING RACE posted its largest audience since March 4, 2012, its best adults 25-54 rating since Oct. 6, 2013 and its best adults 18-49 rating since Nov. 11, 2013.
THE GOOD WIFE
· THE GOOD WIFE (9:50-10:50 PM) delivered 10.42m viewers, 2.5/06 in adults 25-54 and 1.6/04 in adults 18-49. THE GOOD WIFE posted its largest audience since April 22, 2012, its best adults 18-49 ratings since Nov. 10, 2013 and its best adults 25-54 rating since April 13, 2013.
THE MENTALIST
· THE MENTALIST (10:00-11:00 PM) delivered 9.59m viewers, 2.5/07 in adults 25-54 and 1.7/04 in adults 18-49. THE MENTALIST posted its best adults 25-54 rating since March 17, 2013 and its best adults 18-49 rating since May 13, 2013.
GARTH BROOKS: LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS
· GARTH BROOKS: LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS (S) (9:00-11:03 PM) was first in viewers (8.86m), adults 25-54 (2.4/07) and adults 18-49 (1.8/06) from 9:00-11:00 PM. Note: This broadcast ran until 11:03 PM. GARTH BROOKS: LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS was the night's #1 program in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.
RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER
· RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER (R) (S) (8:00-9:01 PM) was first in viewers (11.31m), adults 25-54 (4.1/10), adults 18-49 (3.0/09), adults 18-34 (1.9/07), children 2-11 (4.8/15) and children 6-11 (4.6/14). Compared to last year's broadcast, CBS was up +11% in adults 25-54 (from 3.7/09), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 2.9/08), +6% in adults 18-34 (from 1.8/06), +7% in children 6-11 (from 4.3/14), even in children 2-11 and added +1.20m viewers (from 10.11m, +12%). RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER was the night's #1 program in adults 25-54 and tied "The Voice" as the top program in adults 18-49.
