The Iron Bowl earned an average preliminary national household rating/share of 8.2/17, up 242% from last year's game (2.4/5), according to Nielsen.
The 8.2/17 for Auburn-Alabama is the second highest-rated college football game of the 2013 season, behind CBS Sports' coverage of Alabama-Texas A&M (8.6/19; 9/14/13).
