ABC Is #1 on Friday - "Shark Tank" Is the Top TV Show and "20/20" Is the Top Newsmagazine
ABC Friday Prime (8-11pm - 6.2 million and 1.5/5 in AD18-49): ABC ranked #1 on Friday for the 2nd week in a row with Adults 18-49 (1.5/5 - tied w/CBS), beating NBC by 36% (1.1/4) and Fox by 50% (1.0/3).
· ABC's Shark Tank was Friday's #1 TV show for the 8th consecutive week in Adults 18-49 (2.0/6), tying a season high. In fact, the ABC unscripted series has delivered TV's Top 6 Friday telecasts on any network this season with young adults.
· ABC's 20/20 was once again Friday's #1 newsmagazine, outdelivering NBC's Dateline (8-9pm) in Total Viewers (+7% - 6.0 million vs. 5.6 million), Adults 18-49 (+40% - 1.4/5 vs. 1.0/4) and Adults 25-54 (+19% - 1.9/5 vs. 1.6/5).
Last Man Standing (8-8:30pm - 6.2 million and 1.4/5 in AD18-49): At 8pm, Last Man Standing held steady week to week in Adults 18-49 to equal its 2nd highest rating this season.
The Neighbors (8:30-9pm - 4.5 million and 1.0/4 in AD18-49): At 8:30pm, in a cross-over episode with Shark Tank, The Neighbors gained Total Viewers for the 2nd straight week and was up 10% in Adults 18-49, earning best-since-premiere numbers on both counts.
Shark Tank (9-10pm - 7.3 million and 2.0/6 in AD18-49): Building its lead-in by 82% at 9pm in Adults 18-49, ABC's Shark Tank continued to win its hour by strong double-digit percentages over NBC's Grimm (+43% - 1.4/5) and CBS' Hawaii Five-0 (+54% - 1.3/4). Shark Tank was up from last week's Fast Affiliate number by 1-tenth to match a season high in Adults 18-49. The show generally goes up 1-tenth each week in the National ratings.
20/20 (10-11pm - 6.0 million and 1.4/5 in AD18-49): ABC's 20/20 won the 10'clock hour in Adults 18-49 for the 2nd consecutive week, beating CBS Blue Bloods by 8% (1.3/4) and NBC's Dracula by 40% (1.0/3). 20/20 featured Robin Roberts with the first TV interview of Rutgers basketball coach Mike Rice, after being fired for physically and verbally abusing his players.
