Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (8-9pm - 7.1 million and 2.6/8 in AD18-49): ABC's Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. earned a strong second place in the 8 o'clock hour with Adults 18-49 to CBS' NCIS, beating NBC's The Biggest Loser by 30% (2.0/6) and Fox's comedies by 73% (1.5/4). It was once again the #2 scripted TV show on Tuesday in Adults 18-49 (tie). The ABC drama continued to win its hour with Adults 18-34 and key Men (M18-34/M18-49) to rank as Tuesday's #1 TV show for the 5th week in a row in Men 18-34 and Men 18-49.

Trophy Wife (9:30-10pm - 4.0 million and 1.2/3 in AD18-49): Holding better than 90% retention week to week in viewers (98%) and young adults (92%), ABC's Trophy Wife was Tuesday's 2nd-most-watched comedy, behind only The Golbergs and topping all 4 of Fox's comedies on the evening.
Shark Tank - R (10-11pm - 3.5 million and 1.1/3 in AD18-49): At 10pm, ABC's encore Shark Tank improved the hour week to week in viewers (+35%) and young adults (+83%).

A note about increasing DVR penetration and year-to-year rating comparisons: Year-to-year rating comparisons based on the Live + Same Day data stream are distorted by the level of DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample, which has jumped up to 48% currently, from 46% at the same point in 2012. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which may not be reflected in the overnight next day numbers. The only truly valid year-
to-year comparison would be one based on the Live + 7 Day metric, once those stats are released by Nielsen.
