Live + 3 Day Ratings: ABC's Thursday Dramas Post Strong Gains in Early Playback

Based on Live + 3 Day data for Thursday, the second episode of ABC's Scandal also shot up +1.2 rating points over its Live + Same Day number to deliver a 4.3 rating among Adults 18-49 in L+3 (versus a 3.1 in L+SD). Scandal solidified its rank as Thursday's #2 TV series with young adults, increasing its advantage over CBS' The Millers to 19% (4.3 rating vs. 3.6 rating). In addition, Week 2 of Scandal saw its Total Viewer tally grow by an even bigger 3.0 million viewers (versus +2.8 million for the prior week's premiere) to 12.0 million Total Viewers after 3 days of TV playback.
Gaining +1.4 rating points in L+3, ABC's Grey's Anatomy grew to a 4.2 rating among Adults 18-49, leapfrogging over Fox's Cory Monteith tribute episode of Glee (4.1 rating) to rank as the #1 series in Thursday's 9pm hour. In addition, Grey's moved ahead of CBS' The Millers to lead by 6-tenths of a rating point (in the L+SD ratings, the CBS sitcom lead Grey's by a margin of 2-tenths of a rating point). Grey's grew by more than 3.0 million viewers (+3.1 million) over its L+SD tally, building to 11.9 million Total Viewers in L+3.
The series debut of ABC's Once Upon a Time in Wonderland saw its Adult 18-49 number build to a 2.3 rating after 3 days of TV playback (+0.6 rating points), coming within 1-tenth of a rating point of Fox's The X-Factor (2.4 rating) in the 8pm hour (and will likely tie or beat the Fox unscripted series in L+7). The new ABC drama debut also saw its Total Viewer count grow to 7.3 million viewers in L+3 (from 5.8 million in L+SD).
