FOX Has 2 of the Top 20 Programs Among Adults 18-49: "The Simpsons" and "Sleepy Hollow"
FOX spins the numbers for the week of September 30-October 6.

NATIONAL NIELSEN RATINGS FOR THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 30 - OCTOBER 6, 2013

For the second official week of the broadcast season, FOX ranked No. 2 among Teens, No. 3 among Adults 18-34 and No. 4 among Adults 18-49.

On Monday, FOX was the only one of the four networks to deliver a week-to-week increase of +4% among Adults 18-49, as well as a year-to-year gain (+63% vs. 10/1/12, Bones/Mob Doctor). BONES was up +16% from the previous week in Adults 18-49.

At 9p, SLEEPY HOLLOW grew +4% in Adults 18-34 versus the previous week. In Live+7, the SLEEPY HOLLOW premiere grew +66% to a 5.8/15, making it FOX's highest-rated Fall drama series debut in 13 years (since Boston Public, 10/23/00, 6.2/16).

On Tuesday, NEW GIRL was the night's highest-rated comedy among Adults 18-34 and second highest among Adults 18-49. THE X FACTOR led FOX to rank No. 1 on Wednesday night among Adults 18-34 and Teens.

FOX had:

· 2 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-49: THE SIMPSONS (No. 15 tie) and SLEEPY HOLLOW (No. 15 tie).

· 6 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-34: THE SIMPSONS (No. 5), FAMILY GUY (No. 8), AMERICAN DAD (No. 14), SLEEPY HOLLOW (No. 16), NEW GIRL (No. 17) and BOB'S BURGERS (No. 19).

· 9 of the Top 20 programs among Teens: FAMILY GUY (No. 5), THE SIMPSONS (No. 6), AMERICAN DAD (No. 7), THE X FACTOR-Thu. (No. 8), BOB'S BURGERS (No. 10), THE SIMPSONS 7:30p Encore (No. 12 tie), GLEE (No. 12 tie), THE X FACTOR-Wed. (No. 12 tie) and THE SIMPSONS 7p Encore (No. 20).

Monday: FOX ranked No. 2 for the night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. In Adults 18-49, FOX was the only one of the 4-Nets to deliver a week-to-week increase (+4%), as well as a year-to-year gain (+63% vs. 10/1/12, Bones/Mob Doctor).

BONES (2.2/6) was up +16% from last week in Adults 18-49 (vs. 1.9/5). At 9p, SLEEPY HOLLOW (3.0/8) was on par with the previous week in Adults 18-49 (-3%, vs. 3.1/8) and grew +4% in Adults 18-34 (2.4/7 vs. 2.3/7). SLEEPY HOLLOW ranked No. 2 in its 9pm time period among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, and Teens. In Live+7, the SLEEPY HOLLOW premiere (5.8/15) was FOX's highest-rated Fall drama series debut in 13 years (since Boston Public, 10/23/00, 6.2/16).

Tuesday: FOX ranked No. 4 for the night among Adults 18-49 and No. 2 with Adults 18-34 with original episodes of DADS (1.3/4), BROOKLYN NINE-NINE (1.4/4), NEW GIRL (1.9/5) and THE MINDY PROJECT (1.5/4). NEW GIRL was the night's highest-rated comedy among Adults 18-34 and second highest-rated among Adults 18-49.

Wednesday: FOX ranked No. 3 for the night among Adults 18-49 and tied for No. 1 among Adults 18-34, while winning outright with Teens. Week to week, THE X FACTOR-WEDNESDAY (2.4/7) fell one-tenth of a rating point in Adults 18-49 (vs. 2.5/7). THE X FACTOR-WEDNESDAY grew throughout the night, up +24% among Adults 18-49 from its first to last half hour (2.1/7 > 2.6/7).

Thursday: FOX ranked No. 3 among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 for the night. THE X FACTOR-THURSDAY (2.0/6) was the night's second highest-rated program among Teens, ranking No. 2 in its time period among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens. In the following hour, GLEE delivered a 1.6/5 among Adults 18-49.

Friday: FOX ranked No. 5 among Adults 18-49 in Friday prime with week two of MASTERCHEF JUNIOR (1.3/5) and an encore of SLEEPY HOLLOW (0.7/2).

Saturday: FOX placed No. 3 among Adults 18-49 with COLLEGE FOOTBALL ON FOX: TEXAS CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY VS. UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA (0.8/3).

Sunday: FOX ranked No.3 in Sunday prime among the broadcast nets with a Halloween themed animation line-up. Encores of THE SIMPSONS at 7p (1.2/4) and 7:30p (1.8/5) were followed by originals THE SIMPSONS: TREEHOUSE OF HORRORS 24 (3.0/8), BOB'S BURGERS (1.9/5), FAMILY GUY (2.5/6) and AMERICAN DAD (2.1/5).
