Monday Results:
· From 8-9 p.m. ET, "American Ninja Warrior" (1.5 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49, 5.0 million viewers overall) won the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in every key ratings category - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.
· "American Ninja Warrior" grew half-hour to half-hour by 14% (to a 1.6 from a 1.4) and has now grown half-hour to half-hour by at least 0.2 of a point with seven of seven telecasts this summer. Last night's edition grew from half-hour to half-hour in every key demographic
· From 9-10 p.m. ET, "Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls" (1.2/3 in 18-49, 3.5 million viewers overall) ranked #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 on a night that included competition from ESPN's first "Monday Night Football" Preseason NFL telecasts of the year.
· From 10:01-11 p.m. ET, "Siberia" (0.7/2 in adults 18-49, 2.0 million viewers overall) is currently matching its top 18-49 rating since July 15. Pending updates, "Siberia" is up week to week in total viewers by 11% (to 1.951 million from 1.763 million), which currently makes this the top "Siberia" in total viewers since July 15.
· For the night, NBC ranked #1 in adults, men and women 18-34 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 1.7/5 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.3/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.5/3 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore) trailed CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.5/2 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
