For the week of August 5, 2013, Disney Channel was #1 in Total Day for the 11th consecutive week across target Kid 2-11 (1.13 million/2.8 rating), Kid 6-11 (809,000/3.4 rating) and Tween 9-14 (674,000/2.8 rating) demos, and was #1 for the 4th week in a row in Total Viewers (1.99 million). Disney Channel has been the #1 TV network for over 2 years (113 consecutive weeks) among Kids 6-11 and Tweens.
Disney Channel towered over Nickelodeon by at least double digits for the 92nd consecutive week in Kids 6-11 (+44% - 809,000 vs. 563,000), 94th in Tweens (+74% - 674,000 vs. 388,000) and 4th in Kids 2-11 (+17% - 1.13 million vs. 963,000). Disney Channel surpassed Nickelodeon by its 2nd-biggest margin in nearly 1 year in Total Viewers (+10% - 1.99 million vs. 1.80 million) and Kids 2-11 - since 8/27/12.
In Prime, Disney Channel stood as cable TV's #1 network for the 432nd straight week in Kids 6-11 (1.15 million/4.9 rating - 8+ years) and 167th in Tweens 9-14 (919,000/3.9 rating - 3+ years) and finished in a virtual tie for #1 in Total Viewers with USA (2.605 million vs. 2.619 million), towering over #3 cable TV network, History Channel (2.185 million), by a solid 19%.

Disney Junior Preschooler Block on Disney Channel
Disney Junior's "Sofia the First" stood as cable TV's #1 series for the 3rd consecutive week in Kids 2-5 and was the #1 preschool cable TV series for the 2nd week in a row in Total Viewers and Women 18-49.
Head to head, Disney Junior out-delivered Nickelodeon's preschool block (Mon. - Fri. 7:00 - 10:00 a.m.) by a noteworthy 53% in Total Viewers (1.93 million vs. 1.26 million), by 66% in Kids 2-5 (624,000 vs. 377,000) and by 15% in Women 18-49 (343,000 vs. 302,000).
Overall, the block delivered the week's Top 4 cable TV series in Kids 2-5 and Girls 2-5, Top 4 preschool cable TV series in Boys 2-5 and Women 18-49 and Top 5 in Total Viewers.
24-Hour Disney Junior Channel
The 24-hour Disney Junior Channel ranked as cable TV's #1 preschool-dedicated network in Total Day for the 19th consecutive week - each week since reporting public ratings on 4/1/13 - with Kids 2-5 (208,000/1.3 rating) and Boys 2-5 (113,000/1.4 rating) and for the 18th time in the previous 19 weeks in Total Viewers (418,000).
· Disney Junior Channel out-performed Nick Jr. for the 19th straight week in Kids 2-5 (+28% - 208,000 vs. 163,000) and Boys 2-5 (+49% - 113,000 vs. 76,000), and for the 18th time in 19 weeks in Total Viewers (+24% - 418,000 vs. 337,000), despite being in 15.4 million fewer homes. In fact, this marked Disney Junior's largest advantage to date in Total Viewers and 3rd-biggest in Kids 2-5.
· Disney Junior Channel towered over Sprout by triple digits for the 19th straight week in the target demos: Total Viewers (+153% - 418,000 vs. 165,000), Kids 2-5 (+181% - 208,000 vs. 74,000) and Boys 2-5 (+277% - 113,000 vs. 30,000), and for the 18th time in the past 18 weeks in Girls 2-5 (+116% - 95,000 vs. 44,000).
