Saturday's 48 HOURS: "The Perfect Family" featured double Tracy Smith's report on the investigation into the murder of Ruth Pyne, who was brutally murdered in 2011. Five months into the investigation, Pyne's son Jeffrey was charged with murder.

She fought back and her family raced to help. Together they battled the attacker. Later they learned the man, Adam Leroy Lance, was tied to murders in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
