Turner Sports' Coverage of the 2013 PGA Championship Continues to Deliver Significant Growth Across Platforms

Through Second Round, TNT's Exclusive Live Coverage Up 56% vs. 2012; Friday's 1.7 Rating Nets Highest Second Round Since 2009

Live Streaming via PGA Championship LIVE Up 93%

TNT's exclusive live coverage of the 2013 PGA Championship from the Oak Hill Country Club East Course in Rochester, N.Y., is averaging a 1.4 rating through two rounds, up 56% compared with a 0.9 rating for the first two rounds in 2012. The 1.4 rating, based on Nielsen metered markets, is the network's highest rating for the first two rounds of the Championship since 2009 (1.6 rating).

Friday's second round coverage delivered a 1.7 overnight rating, an increase of 42% over a 1.2 rating in 2012. It also registered the network's highest rating for the second round of the tournament since 2009 (2.1 rating). The second round telecast peaked with a 2.1 rating from 4:30-4:45 p.m. ET and the top five metered markets for the entire six hours of coverage were Las Vegas (3.5), Columbus (3.2), West Palm Beach (3.2), Orlando (2.9) and Buffalo (2.8). On Friday, Jason Dufner shot a 63 for the round to tie the major scoring record and break the course record.

PGA.com, managed by Turner Sports, and its Sports Emmy Award-winning PGA Championship LIVE also continues to garner significant audience and content consumption increases across digital platforms. Live streaming across platforms (broadband and mobile) is up 93% through the first two rounds of the Championship and live streaming hours across platforms are up 90% compared to the first two days in 2012.
