ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING DRIVES CBS SUMMER GROWTH

CBS is the Only Network to Post Across-the-Board Summer Gains Led by "Under the Dome," "Big Brother" and "Unforgettable"

"Under the Dome" is the Most-Watched Program For the Fifth Time in Six Weeks

CBS is only major network posting year-to-year summer growth driven by original summer programs UNDER THE DOME, BIG BROTHER and UNFORGETTABLE, according to Nielsen most current summer ratings through Aug. 4.

Compared to last summer, CBS is up +5% in viewers (5.76m from 5.50m), +9% in adults 18-49 (1.2/04 from 1.1/03) and +7% in adults 25-54 (1.6/05 from 1.5/04).

· UNDER THE DOME, the #1 summer series in viewers and key demographics (and the week's top program in all key measures) has improved the year-ago time period by +167% in viewers (14.41m from 5.40m), +236% in adults 18-49 (3.7 from 1.1) and +257% in adults 25-54 (5.0 from 1.4).

· BIG BROTHER (16 broadcasts) has posted year-to-year increases of +9% in viewers (7.07m from 6.50m), +4% in adults 18-49 (2.5 from 2.4) and +3% in adults 25-54 (3.0 from 2.9), with all three nightly editions up in viewers and adults 18-49.

· Through two broadcasts, the return of UNFORGETTABLE has improved the year-ago Sunday (9:00-10:00 PM) time period by +332% in viewers (7.13m from 1.65m), +140% in adults 18-49 (1.2 from 0.7) and +183% in adults 25-54 (1.7 from 0.6).

For the week in viewers: CBS (5.78m), NBC (5.42m), ABC (3.96m) and FOX (2.37m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in both adults 25-54 (1.7/05) and adults 18-49 (1.2/04). Compared to the same week last year, CBS was up +39% in viewers, +31% in adults 25-54 and +20% in adults 18-49.

CBS Weekly Highlights:

UNDER THE DOME was first in viewers (11.41m), adults 25-54 (3.8/10) and adults 18-49 (2.8/08). Compared to last week, UNDER THE DOME was up +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.7/10) and even in adults 18-49. UNDER THE DOME was the most watched program for the fifth time in six weeks.

UNFORGETTABLE was second in viewers (7.10m) and adults 25-54 (1.7/04). Compared to the time period last year UNFORGETTABLE was up +143% in adults 25-54 and +140% in adults 18-49 and +158% in viewers.

BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was first in adults 25-54 (2.5/08), adults 18-49 (2.1/07) and second in viewers (6.25m).

BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was first in viewers (7.12m), adults 25-54 (2.9/08) and adults 18-49 (2.5/08). BIG BROTHER 15 THURSDAY posted season-high viewer totals for any night, and matched season highs in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was second in viewers (6.79m), adults 25-54 (2.8/08) and adults 18-49 (2.3/07). Compared to last Sunday, BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was even in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. Compared to the same night last year, BIG BROTHER 15 SUNDAY was up +12% in adults 25-54 and +10% in adults 18-49.
