Wednesday Primetime Results:
· At 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Dateline NBC" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 5.5 million viewers overall) finished #2 in the slot among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in total viewers versus mostly original competition on ABC, CBS and Fox, pending updates. From its first half-hour to its second, "Dateline" grew by 18 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.3 rating from a 1.1) and 10 percent in total viewers (5.7 million vs. 5.2 million).
· Versus its prior telecast three weeks ago, the "Dateline" rebroadcast is currently up 9% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.2 rating from a 1.1 on June 5), up 14% in adults 25-54 (1.6 vs. 1.4) and up 5% in total viewers (5.478 million vs. 5.237 million).
· At 9 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.1/3 in 18-49, 5.0 million viewers overall) matched the show's highest 18-49 rating for a rebroadcast since December 26 (1.3), pending updates. In total viewers it was also "SVU's" top-scoring encore since that same December 26 telecast (5.5 million). From its first half-hour to its second, "SVU" grew by 20% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.2 from a 1.0) and 13% in total viewers (5.3 million vs. 4.7 million).
· Versus its prior telecast three weeks ago, "SVU" is currently up 10% in 18-49 rating (with a 1.1 vs. a 1.0 on June 5) and up 6% in total viewers (4.959 million vs. 4.686 million), pending updates.
· At 10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Chicago Fire" averaged a 0.7/2 in adults 18-49 and 2.9 million viewers overall, equaling its prior rating of three weeks ago (0.7 on June 5) to hold steady despite CBS's move of "Criminal Minds" encores into the time period last night.
· "Chicago Fire" maintained its rating from half-hour to half-hour in adults 18-49 (0.7 vs. 0.7) and adults 25-54 (1.0 vs. 1.0).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.5/6; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.3/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.6/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.9/4.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.2/4 in metered-market households with an encore telecast) beat CBS's first-run "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore) tied "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/1 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
