UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - June 11, 2013 - NBC finished second for the primetime week of June 3-9, behind ABC and ahead of CBS and Fox in adults 18-49 and 25-54, as well as tying for second in 18-34, according to "live plus same day" viewing data from Nielsen Media Research.

For the week, NBC earned a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demo, losing only to ABC, which telecast two nights of the NBA Finals. Among entertainment programs, NBC was No. 1 for the week.

The network won Monday, Tuesday and Saturday, against ABC, CBS and Fox, in the 18-49 demo.

NBC had the top three non-sports programs of the week, paced by "The Voice," which was the week's No. 1 non-sports program. The Monday edition of "The Voice" earned a 3.3 rating/9 share, which was tops for the week. The Tuesday edition of "The Voice" was second best with a 3.1/11.

The season premiere of "America's Got Talent" drew a healthy 3.1/9 and 11.2 million viewers in the 9-11 p.m. Tuesday timeslot and tied for "The Voice" as the No. 1 show for the night.

Also in the top 20 for the week was the season finale of "Revolution (2.0/5). The sci-fi drama placed No. 11, but was actually eighth among the Big 4 networks if you don't include the NBA Finals.

NBC was up both in the 18-49 demo and total viewers compared to a year ago. The 1.5 in 18-49 bested the 1.3 from a year ago and the 5.59 million viewers overall is an improvement from last year's 4.89 million viewers for the same week.

Primetime averages for the week of June 3-9 in adults 18-49: ABC, 2.0/7; NBC, 1.5/5; Fox, 1.2/4; CBS, 1.0/3; CW, 0.3/1. In overall total viewers: ABC, 6.0 million, CBS, 6.0 million; NBC, 5.6 million; Fox, 3.3 million; CW, 750,000.

Averages for the 2012-13 broadcast year to date: CBS, 2.8/8; Fox, 2.4/7; NBC, 2.3/7; ABC, 2.2/6; CW, 0.7/2. In overall total viewers, the season averages are: CBS, 11.5 million; ABC, 7.8 million; NBC, 6.9 million; Fox, 6.8 million; CW, 1.7 million.

NBC highlights for the week for June 3-9:

Monday: NBC is #1 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49, total viewers and every other key category, with a 75% margin over #2 among those networks in 18-49 (with a 2.8 rating vs. a 1.6 for ABC), winning six of six half-hours.

"The Voice" (8-10:01 p.m.) and "Revolution" (10:01-11 p.m.) ranked as the #1 and #2 shows of the night on those networks in 18-49 and total viewers. "The Voice" (3.3 rating, 9 share in adults 18-49, 11.3 million viewers overall) won its time period in every key demographic among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, leading the timeslot among those networks in 18-49 by a margin of 94% versus ABC's "Bachelorette" (3.3 vs. 1.7). "The Voice" is up week to week by 3% in 18-49 rating (3.3 vs. 3.2). In total viewers, "The Voice" is at a four-week high and also up by 3% versus the prior week (11.3 million vs. 11.0 million).

"Revolution" (2.0/5 in adults 18-49, 6.2 million viewers overall) is up 5% in 18-49 rating versus last week's 1.9, to hit its highest rating in four weeks (since May 6) and tie its top rating since April 8. The season finale of "Revolution" is #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, as well as adults 18-34, adults 25-54, total viewers and most other key demographics.

Tuesday: NBC is #1 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and total viewers and all other key measures with the top two shows of the night: "America's Got Talent" and "The Voice," which tied for #1 in 18-49. NBC won six of six half-hours among those networks in 18-49 and total viewers, winning the night by an 82% margin in 18-49 (3.1 vs. 1.7 for #2 Fox) and 61% in total viewers (11.1 million vs. 6.9 million for CBS).

From 8-9:01 p.m. ET, "The Voice" (3.1/11 in 18-49, 10.9 million viewers overall) won the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in every key measure - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers - with a margin in adults 18-49 of 94% versus the first hour of Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" (3.1 vs. 1.6 from 8-9).

From 9:01-11 p.m. ET, the season debut of "America's Got Talent" (3.1/9 in 18-49, 11.2 million viewers overall) tied for the #1 telecast of the night in 18-49 and is the #1 show outright in total viewers.

"Talent" is #1 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key ratings category and beats the ABC-CBS competition combined in all those measures - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.

Wednesday: At 8 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall) finished #2 in the slot among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and ranked #1 among those networks in total viewers versus mostly original competition on ABC, CBS and Fox.

At 9 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" averaged a 1.0/3 in 18-49 and 4.7 million viewers overall. In total viewers, the 4.7 million is the biggest audience for an "SVU" encore since Dec. 26, 2012 (5.5 million).

At 10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Chicago Fire" averaged a 0.7/2 in adults 18-49 and 3.0 million viewers overall. "Chicago Fire" maintained its rating from half-hour to half-hour in adults 18-49 (0.7 vs. 0.7) and adults 25-54 (1.0 vs. 1.0) and grew by 4 percent in total viewers (to 3.0 million from 2.9 million).

Thursday: At 8 p.m. ET, "Save Me" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall) was up a tenth of a point versus last week's 0.6 rating, while facing competition last night that included CBS's "Big Bang Theory" encore, Fox's "Hell's Kitchen" and ABC's pre-NBA "Jimmy Kimmel Live." In total viewers, "Save Me" is up week to week by 15% at 8 p.m. (3.122 million vs. 2.662 million).

From 8:30-9 p.m. ET, a second telecast of "Save Me" (0.7/2 in 18-49, 2.8 million viewers overall) was versus last week by 17% in 18-49 rating (to a 0.7 from a 0.6) and by 18% in total viewers (2.757 million vs. 2.260 million).

From 9:31-10:01 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Parks and Recreation" (0.7/2 in 18-49, 1.8 million viewers overall) is currently building on its 18-49 rating by 17%.

From 10:01-11 p.m. ET, "Hannibal" (0.9/3 in 18-49 and 2.3 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 29 percent in 18-49 rating and 32 percent in total viewers. "Hannibal" is a highly time-shifted series, with last week's telecast growing by 79% and the number should also be high this week as many male viewers were likely watching the first game of the NBA Finals.

Friday: NBC finished just one-tenth out of first place in the 18-49 demo (1.1 vs. Fox's 1.2). "Dateline" (8-10 p.m. ET) drew a 1.1 rating and 6.36 million viewers overall. It was the most-watched broadcast program of the night and saw increases in total viewers for each half-hour.

At 10 p.m., a new episode of "Rock Center" delivered a 1.1 rating, on par with its second quarter 2013 average-to-date in its Friday time-period, when it had "Dateline" or "Grimm" lead-ins.

Saturday: NBC Sports' coverage of the fifth and deciding game of the L.A. Kings-Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup playoff series drew a 1.1 rating, which was best for the night. The game won in every timeslot, except for 10 p.m. where it tied with CBS.

Sunday: NBC's top show was a two-hour 9-11 p.m. repeat of "America's Got Talent" (1.3 in 18-49 and 1.6 million viewers). The network faced tough broadcast competition with ABC's Game 2 coverage of the NBA Finals and CBS' annual Tony Awards telecast.
