AMERICAN IDOL Leads Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Nights Among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens

FOX has officially surpassed NBC and moved into the No. 2 spot for the season among Adults 18-49. The network's week was highlighted by dominate performances from AMERICAN IDOL, BONES, THE FOLLOWING, GLEE, and the Sunday night ANIMATION DOMINATION line-up, leading the network to rank No. 1 for the week among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens. FOX also ranked No. 1 six nights this week among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

On Monday, THE FOLLOWING was the highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Teens and all key male demos. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday episodes of AMERICAN IDOL dominated their time periods and led the network to rank No. 1 on each of the nights among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

FOX won the night in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 and Teens. FOX outperformed the No. 2 networks of the night by +100% in Adults 18-49 (3.8/10 vs. 1.9/5 for CBS), +182% in Adults 18-34 (3.1/10 vs. 1.1/3 for ABC) and +66% in Total Viewers (12.8 Mil. vs. 7.7 Mil. for CBS). FOX won its eighth straight Wednesday.

AMERICAN IDOL delivered a 3.8/10 among Adults 18-49. AMERICAN IDOL was the highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Total Viewers, Teens and all key demos. AMERICAN IDOL outperformed its nearest competitors by +46% in Adults 18-49 (3.8/10 vs. 2.6/7 for CBS' Survivor) and +107% in Adults 18-34 (3.1/10 vs. 1.5/5 for ABC's repeat Modern Family).

FOX ranked No. 1 on Thursday night in Adults 18-49 (tie), Adults 18-34 and Teens. FOX ranked No. 1 for the third straight Thursday in Adults 18-49 and its eighth straight Thursday (since AMERICAN IDOL premiered) in Adults 18-34. FOX outperformed the No. 2 network of the night by +50% in Adults 18-34 (2.7/9 vs. 1.8/6 for CBS).

AMERICAN IDOL posted a 3.6/10 among Adults 18-49. AMERICAN IDOL was the second-highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-34 and Teens (behind CBS' The Big Bang Theory), but won the 8-9:30p time period in both demographics.
