In Late-Night Metered-Market Household Averages for Saturday

Short and musical guest Paul McCartney, averaged a 3.1/8 in metered-market households. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, last night's "Saturday Night Live" delivered a 1.7 rating, 8 share in adults 18-49. "SNL" delivered the top rating of the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in the Local People Meters, topping all primetime programming on those networks in 18-49.
Saturday Primetime Results:
* At 8 p.m. ET, "American Ninja Warrior" averaged a 0.6/2 in 18-49
and 1.9 million viewers overall, matching its 18-49 rating of the prior week and improving by 2 percent in total viewers (1.946 million vs.
1.905 million).
* At 9 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Chicago Fire" earned a 0.4/1 in
18-49 and 1.9 million viewers overall, equaling its 18-49 rating of the previous week and growing by 11 percent in total viewers (1.923 million vs. 1.737 million).
* At 10 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Saturday Night Live," with host
Christoph Waltz and musical guest Alabama Shakes (0.8/3 in 18-49, 2.4 million viewers overall) doubled its 18-49 lead-in to equal NBC's highest non-sports 18-49 rating in the time period since December 22.
The "SNL" encore grew from its first half-hour to its second by 29 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 0.9 rating from a 0.7), 22 percent in adults 25-54 (1.1 vs. 0.9) and 15 percent in total viewers (2.5 million vs. 2.2 million). In the time period, the "SNL" encore was #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in men 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.
