Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night:
CBS (9.588 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.8, #1) was the network to beat on Monday with its mix of "How I Met Your Mother" (9.022 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.2, #2), "Rules of Engagement" (8.372 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.8, #4), "2 Broke Girls" (10.785 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.5, #1), "Mike & Molly" (10.393 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.9, #3) and "Hawaii Five-0" (9.478 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.1, #8).
The silver then went to ABC (8.560 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.5, #2) with its usual lineup of "The Bachelor" (8.384 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.7, #5) and "Castle" (8.911 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.0, #T9).
Next up was FOX (8.239 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.3, #3) with originals from "Bones" (8.730 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.2, #7) and "The Following" (7.748 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.4, #6).
Meanwhile, NBC (4.757 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.8, #4) offered up new episodes of "The Biggest Loser" (5.488 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 2.0, #T9) and "Deception" (3.296 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.3, #11).
And finally, new episodes of "The Carrie Diaries" (1.307 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.6, #12) and "90210" (0.669 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #13) rounded out the night over on The CW (0.988 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #5).
In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Carrie" delivered a 0.9 rating while "90210" posted a 0.6 rating.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 1.0/4; "Late Show," 0.8/4; "Nightline," 1.2/5; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.
At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.5/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.4/5). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.4/3).
At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 with an encore in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters
