Friday Primetime Results (ratings are subject to revision due to local preemptions in the Northeast for weather coverage):
* From 8-10 p.m., "Dateline NBC" (1.5/5 in 18-49, 7.0 million
viewers overall) reported its highest 18-49 rating for a Friday telecast since January 4 (1.5 from 9-11 p.m.), pending updates, and its biggest overall viewership in the 16 months since September 23, 2011 (7.237 million from 9-11 p.m.), despite last night's move to an earlier time period. It's NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the Friday 8-10 p.m. slot since a "Saturday Night Live" special on December 7 (1.5) and biggest overall audience in the time period since August 10, 2012 during the London Olympics.
* In the time slot, "Dateline" is #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox
in total viewers, pending updates, and #2 in adults 18-49 and 25-54.
* From 10-11 p.m. ET, "Rock Center with Brian Williams" (1.3/4 in
18-49, 5.5 million viewers overall) moved to its new time period with the show's highest 18-49 rating since November 1, 2012 (1.3), while matching its top rating since September 13, 2012 (1.4), pending updates.
In total viewers, it's the biggest audience for "Rock Center" since September 13, 2012 (5.999 million).
* "Rock Center" reported three-week highs for NBC in the time
period in both adults 18-49 and 25-54, pending updates.
* For the night, NBC ranked #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in
adults 18-49 with its highest Friday average (1.4) since December 28, pending updates. NBC was also #2 among those networks in total viewers with its top average (6.5 million persons) since August. 10, 2012 during the London Olympics.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday night (some delays in Northeast markets for weather coverage):
* In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The
Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 3.1/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 3.0/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.3/5.
* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49
Wednesday results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 1.0/4; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.9/4.
* From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET Wednesday night, ABC's "Nightline"
averaged a 1.6/5 in metered-market households and a 0.6/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
* From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.7/5
in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.4/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
* At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 1.0/4 in
metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
