season-high 3.1 rating, NBC's best in-season average since Super Bowl
week.
Versus the same week last year, NBC is up 29 percent (with a 3.1
rating vs. a 2.4). The other Big 4 networks are all down versus the
same week last year by double-digit percentages.
Season to date, NBC is now up 23 percent versus on year ago (3.2 vs.
2.6), the biggest increase for any network at this point in the season
in three years (since Fox was up 23 percent in 2009) and biggest
increase for NBC at this point in the season in the 25-year history of
people meters.
NBC has moved from #4 in18-49 at this point last year to #1 this year
NBC has now won six of the season's first seven weeks in 18-49,
finishing #2 only during the week Fox carried four World Series games.
It's the first time in 10 years NBC has won six of the opening seven
weeks.
NBC is #1 season to date in 18-49 for the first time at this point of
the season in nine years.
For the season, NBC now has a 14% lead over second place (3.2 vs. 2.8
for CBS), the second-biggest margin for any network in 11 years (since
2001, NBC vs. Fox, +19%), behind only +16% for Fox in 2009.
