NICKELODEON'S "SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS" AND "TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES" TOP TV WITH KIDS AND TOTAL VIEWERS FOR THIRD STRAIGHT WEEK
NEW YORK - Nov. 6, 2012 - Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) continued their winning streak for a third straight week with SpongeBob topping all TV with kids 2-11 and TMNT winning its time period by double digits among K 2-11 across all TV for the week of Oct. 28 - Nov. 4, 2012.
The Saturday, Nov. 3, TMNT averaged a 5.6/1.9 million with kids 2-11 and 3.7 million total viewers. The show was number-one in its 11 a.m. (ET/PT) time period with both demos on all TV, outpacing the closest competitor (The Disney Channel) by +51% with K2-11 and +92% with total viewers. The Saturday morning premiere also ranks as the number two animated series for the week with K2-11 (behind only SpongeBob).
SpongeBob SquarePants claimed the top spot as the number one kids' show on all TV for the third straight week. "The Good Krabby Name/Move It or Lose It" (Saturday, Oct. 27 at 10:30 a.m., ET/PT), averaged a 6.3/2.1 million with K2-11 and 4.2 million total viewers--ranking as the most-watched kids' program among total viewers for the week.
