In Late-Night Metered-Market Household Averages for Saturday night:
· An encore telecast of "Saturday Night Live," with host Jimmy Fallon and musical guest Michael Buble (3.1/8 in metered-market households), dominated its time period. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Saturday Night Live" averaged a 1.5 rating, 7 share in adults 18-49. These are "SNL's' top results since July 21.
· "Saturday Night Live" is the #1 telecast of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in both metered-market household ratings and 18-49 ratings in the 25 markets with Local People Meters, outscoring all primetime programs on those networks.
Saturday Primetime Results:
· From 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" averaged a 0.5/2 in 18-49 and 2.1 million viewers overall.
· At 9 p.m. ET, an encore "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" delivered a 0.5/2 in 18-49 and 2.4 million viewers overall, building from its first half-hour to its second by 20 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.6 from a 0.5) and 19 percent in total viewers (2.6 million vs. 2.2 million).
· At 10 p.m. ET, a second rebroadcast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" captured a 0.7/2 in 18-49 and 3.9 million viewers overall, building on its lead-in by 40 percent in adults 18-49, 25 percent in adults 25-54 (to a 1.0 from a 0.8) and 61 percent in total viewers.
Friday Primetime Results:
· From 8-9 p.m. ET, NBC, ABC, CBS and Fox carried "Stand Up To Cancer" as sustaining programming and ratings will not be included in nightlong, weeklong or season averages.
· At 9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Grimm" delivered a 0.5/1 in 18-49 and 1.7 million viewers overall.
· At 10 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" averaged a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 3.7 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its second, "Dateline" grew by 25 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.0 rating from a 0.8), by 27 percent in adults 25-54 (1.4 vs. 1.1) and by 23 percent in total viewers (4.1 million vs. 3.4 million).
In late-night metered-market households Friday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.6/6; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.0/5 with an encore; and ABC's combo of "Nightline," 2.8/6; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.4/4 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.7/3; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; "Nightline," 0.9/4; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.
· At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.5/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
