DISCOVERY CHANNEL CONTINUES TO PULL IN BIG NUMBERS WITH "BERING SEA GOLD: UNDER THE ICE" AND "YUKON MEN"
(Silver Spring, Md.) - Discovery kept the momentum going for the second week in a row with 'Do or Die Friday' lineup of BERING SEA GOLD: UNDER THE ICE and YUKON MEN, which were the top two programs in cable (excluding sports) for Men 25-54. BERING SEA GOLD: UNDER THE ICE once again produced big ratings on Friday, August 31 at 9pm ET/PT. BERING SEA GOLD: UNDER THE ICE was the #1 non-sports program in cable among P/M 25-54 delivery and #2 among M 18-49 delivery. Earning a 1.09 HH / 0.84 P25-54, the one-hour program delivered an average of 1.58 million viewers P2+.
Additionally, freshman series YUKON MEN came in with large numbers on Friday, August 31 at 10pm ET/PT. YUKON MEN was the #2 non-sports program in cable among M25-54. Earning a 1.07 HH/ .076 P25-54, this one-hour program delivered an average of 1.48 million viewers P2+.
BERING SEA GOLD: UNDER THE ICE follows three gold mining teams run by driven dredge captains whose very livelihoods depend on mining this wet and frozen gold.
