UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - May 30, 2012 - The Monday and Tuesday editions of "America's Got Talent" have both delivered top-six rankings in adults 18-49 for the primetime week of May 21-27 while "American Ninja Warrior" placed in the top 15 in both adults 18-34 and 18-49, leading NBC's lineup to an average 1.3 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 4.6 million viewers overall for the week, according to in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

In a week the included the closing three nights of the May sweep, Tuesday's "America's Got Talent" tied for #4 for the week in adults 18-49 with a 3.3 rating, and the Monday edition ranked #6. Monday's NBC debut of "American Ninja Warrior" tied for #11 and Wednesday's "Law & Order: SVU" tied for #20.

In the valuable adult 18-34 demo, Tuesday's "Talent" ranked #5, Monday's "Talent" tied for #8, "Ninja" ranked #14, "SVU" tied for #18, Tuesday's 8 p.m. ET "Talent" encore and Wednesday's 8 p.m. edition of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" tied for #23 and Tuesday's 20th anniversary edition of "Dateline NBC" and Wednesday's 8:30 "Off Their Rockers" tied for #26.

Primetime averages for the week of May 21-27 in adults 18-49 were Fox (2.6/9), ABC (1.9/6), NBC (1.3/4), CBS (1.2/4) and CW (0.3/1). In overall total viewers the weekly averages were Fox (8.3 million), ABC (7.4 million), CBS (5.8 million), NBC (4.6 million) and CW (0.7 million).

NBC highlights for the week of May 21-27

* On Monday, "America's Got Talent" scored the #1 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, leading NBC to a nightlong win among those networks in adults 18-49.

* Monday's NBC premiere of "American Ninja Warrior" jumped 41 percent above the show's rating.for last summer's "Ninja" special on NBC.

* On Tuesday, "America's Got Talent" won its highly competitive slot in 18-49 versus the first.hour of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" finale and Fox's "Glee" season finale.

* On Wednesday, "Law & Order: SVU" captured an 18 week-to-week gain to book NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period in 15 weeks. It was also NBC's biggest overall audience in the hour in 19 weeks.

* On Thursday, "Awake" grew week to week by 29 percent to match its highest 18-49 rating in eight weeks.

* On Sunday, a 10-11 p.m. ET encore of "America's Got Talent" delivered the #1 non-sports rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox in 18-49.

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

On Monday, May 21 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (3.2 rating, 10 share in adults 18-49, 9.7 million viewers overall) delivered the #1 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox in adults 18-49 and other key demos. Versus NBC's season average in the slot prior to "America's Got Talent," this week's "Talent" is up 10 percent in 18-49 (3.2 vs. 2.9) and up 14 percent or 1.2 million persons in total viewers (9.7 million vs. 8.5 million). In the time period, "Talent" was #1 in 18-49 with a 10 percent advantage over ABC's second-place final competition episode of "Dancing With the Stars" (3.2 vs. 2.9 from 8-9 p.m.). From its first half-hour to its second, this week's "Talent" grew by 10 percent in both 18-49 rating (to a 3.3 from a 3.0) and total viewers (1.0 million vs. 9.1 million).

Monday from 9-11 p.m. ET, the NBC season debut of "American Ninja Warrior" (2.4/6 in 18-49, 6.2 million viewers overall) climbed 41 percent above NBC's special telecast of "American Ninja Warrior" last summer in 18-49 rating (2.4 vs. a 1.7 from 9-11 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011) and is up 51 percent or 2.1 million persons in total viewers (6.204 million vs. 4.103 million). The 2.4 rating for "American Ninja Warrior" matched NBC's season average in the time period and also tied "Ninja" head to head with ABC's "Bachelorette" in the night's 9-11 p.m. averages. In the time period, "American Ninja Warrior" was tied for #2 in adults 18-49 and is #2 outright in all key adults-male demos. For its second hour from 10-11 p.m., "Warrior" tied for #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and was #1 outright in all key adult-male demos.

NBC ranked #1 Monday night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49.

On Tuesday, May 22, at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall) ranked #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 behind only Fox's last competition episode of "American Idol" and ahead of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" encore and CBS's "NCIS: LA" rebroadcast. The "Talent" encore was also #2 or tied for #2 among those networks in adults, men and women 18-34; adults, men and women 18-49; and adults and men 25-54.

Tuesday from 9-10 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (3.3/9 in 18-49, 9.4 million viewers overall) ranked #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 versus intense sweep-month competition from ABC's first hour of the "Dancing With the Stars" finale and Fox's "Glee" finale. "Talent" topped the "Dancing" finale by 6 percent (with a 3.3 rating vs. a 3.1) and the "Glee" finale by 14 percent (3.3 vs. 2.9). From its first half-hour to its second, "America's Got Talent" grew by 13 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 3.5 from a 3.1) and by 13 percent in total viewers (10.0 million vs. 8.9 million). "Talent" was up versus NBC's season averages in the slot prior to the debut of "Talent" by 32 percent in 18-49 (with a 3.3 rating vs. a 2.5) and up 37 percent in total viewers (9.4 million vs. 6.9 million). "Talent" was also up by 6 percent versus the average for the show's last eight Tuesday telecasts last summer (3.3 vs. 3.1), despite Tuesday's competition from sweep-month finales.

Tuesday from 10-11 p.m. ET, the NBC News Special "Dateline NBC: 20th Anniversary Special" reported a 1.6/4 in 18-49 and 5.0 million viewers overall, matching NBC's 18-49 rating in the time period one week earlier with "Fashion Star."

On Wednesday, May 23 from 8-8:30 p.m. ET, "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (1.5/5 in 18-49, 5.4 million viewers overall) matched its top 18-49 rating in this time period in four weeks, since April 25, and delivered its biggest overall audience since that same date. Week to week, the 8 p.m. "Rockers" was up 7 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.5 from a 1.4) and 4 percent in total viewers (5.388 million vs. 5.179 million) against competition this week that included Fox's "American Idol" finale, ABC's "The Middle" and CBS's encore "Big Bang Theory." In its eight weeks in this time period, "Off Their Rockers" has delivered NBC's eight biggest overall audiences in the Wednesday 8-8:30 half-hour since January 11.

Wednesday at 8:30 ET, a second telecast of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (1.5/5 in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall) retained 100 percent of its 18-49 lead-in from the 8 p.m. "Rockers."

Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of " Law & Order: Special Victims Unit " averaged a 0.9/2 in 18-49 and 3.7 million viewers overall. Week to week, the 9 p.m. "SVU" encore grew by 13 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.9 from a 0.8) and 28 percent in total viewers (3.662 million vs. 2.857 million). From its first half-hour to its second, the 9 p.m. "SVU" rebroadcast grew by 25 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.0 from a 0.8) and 19 percent in total viewers (4.0 million vs. 3.3 million).

Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (2.0/5 in 18-49, 7.2 million viewers overall) captured NBC's highest 18-49 rating in this time period in 15 weeks (since February 8) and delivered the network's biggest overall audience in the hour in 19 weeks (since January 11). From its first half-hour to its second, "SVU" grew by 11 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 2.1 rating from a 1.9), 8 percent in adults 25-54 (2.6 vs. 2.4) and 10 percent in total viewers (7.5 million vs. 6.8 million). "SVU" built on its lead-in by 122 percent in 18-49 rating and 96 percent in total viewers. Week to week, "SVU" was up 18 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 2.0 rating from a 1.7), up 19 percent in adults 25-54 (2.5 vs. 2.1) and up 29 percent of 1.6 million persons in total viewers (7.2 million vs. 5.6 million).

On Thursday, May 24 at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "The Office" averaged a 0.7/2 in 18-49 and 2.3 million viewers overall, and at 8:30, a second "Office" rebroadcast delivered a 0.7/2 in 18-49 and 1.9 million viewers overall.

Thursday at 9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 3.8 million viewers overall) grew from its first half-hour to its second by 40 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.4 from a 1.0) and 25 percent in total viewers (4.3 million vs. 3.4 million).

Thursday at 10 p.m. ET, "Awake" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall) grew week to week by 29 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.9 from a 0.7) and 37 percent in total viewers (2.9 million vs. 2.1 million). "Awake" matched its highest 18-49 rating in eight weeks (since March 29) and delivered its biggest overall audience since that same date.

Friday, May 25 at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Who Do You Think You Are?" averaged a 0.5/2 in 18-49 and 3.0 million viewers overall. At 9, a rebroadcast of "Grimm" delivered a 0.5/2 in 18-49 and 2.6 million viewers overall.

Friday at 10 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. "Dateline" built on its lead-in by 100 percent in 18-49 rating and 73 percent in total viewers.

On Saturday, May 26 at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Harry's Law" averaged a 0.3/1 in 18-49 and 3.2 million viewers overall. At 9 p.m. ET, "The Firm" delivered a 0.4/1 in 18-49 and 2.4 million viewers overall. At 10 p.m. ET, another telecast of "The Firm" averaged a 0.4/1 in 18-49, 2.4.

On Sunday, May 27 from 7-8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Dateline Classic" (0.6/3 in 18-49, 3.5 million viewers overall) grew from its first half-hour to its second by 17 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.7 from a 0.6) and by 13 percent in total viewers (3.7 million vs. 3.3 million).

Sunday at 8 p.m. ET, "Harry's Law" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 5.9 million viewers) built on its lead-in by 17 percent in 18-49 rating and 69 percent in total viewers.

Sunday from 9-10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 3.2 million viewers) ranked #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in the time period in 18-49, behind only Fox's NASCAR Racing.

Sunday from 10-11 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast "America's Got Talent" (1.1/3 in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall) earned the #1 non-sports rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox in 18-49. "Talent" built on its encore results in the prior hour by 57 percent in 18-49 and 37 percent in total viewers.
