Season Finale is Also Program's Most Watched
Telecast among Women 18-49 and Women 25-54
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 23, 2012) - Last night's season finale of Lifetime's unscripted program Project Runway All Stars, which named Mondo Guerra as its winning designer, averaged 2.4 million Total Viewers, a series best and a +26% jump versus its season-to-date average, according to Nielsen Media. The series, featuring Project Runway's most talented and memorable designers, secured 1.1 million Adults 25-54 viewers (+12%) and one million Adults 18-49 viewers (+15%). Project Runway All Stars also reached series highs among Women 25-54 (774,000, +14%) and Women 18-49 (752,000, +22%).
Immediately following, the season finale of Project Runway All Stars: After the Runway also reached series highs among key demos, including 1.4 million Total Viewers.
This season a new day arrived for 13 past Project Runway designers, who returned to the catwalk to face a brand new panel of discerning eyes with host supermodel Angela Lindvall, world-famous designers Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman as judges and fashion tastemaker and mentor, Marie Claire Editor-in-Chief Joanna Coles. Designers this season included Guerra, Kenley Collins, Michael Costello, Gordana Gehlhausen, Mila Hermanovski, Kara Janx, Elisa Jimenez, April Johnston, Rami Kashou, Austin Scarlett, Jerell Scott, Sweet P/ Kathleen Vaughn and AnthonyWilliams.
Guerra received the most lucrative prizing ever in Project Runway history. Prizes included an exclusive designer's boutique in select Neiman Marcus stores and on NeimanMarcus.com, $100,000 dollars in technology and office space to help grow their business from HP and Intel, $100,000 cash from L'Oreal Paris, a feature spread in Marie Claire, for which he will serve as a guest editor for one year, and a sewing and embroidery studio provided by Brother International. Project Runway All Stars is produced by The Weinstein Company and Bunim-Murray Productions.
