SYFY'S SMASH HIT "FACE OFF" SETS SERIES HIGHS FOR SECOND TIME THIS SEASON IN TOTAL VIEWERS AND ADULTS 25-54
GHOST HUNTERS SCARES UP MOST WATCHED EPISODE SINCE OCTOBER 2010
NEW YORK - February 3, 2012 - Syfy's hit Face Off shattered records for the second time in just four weeks, transforming series highs in total viewers (2.14 million) - marking the first time it surpassed the two million viewer mark - and Adults 25-54 (1.13 million) during its telecast on Wednesday, February 1 from 10-11PM (ET/PT).
Compared to the previous January 25 program, Face Off leaped 27 percent in total viewers, 25 percent in Adults 25-54 and 22 percent in Adults 18-49.
The 9PM lead-in Ghost Hunters - scaring up its most watched episode since October 2010 - uncovered season highs in total viewers (2.05 million) and Adults 25-54 (1.09 million), up 18 percent and 21 percent respectively, versus the January 25 show.
The potent one-two punch powered Syfy to #4 among Adults 25-54 and #5 in Adults 18-49 among cable entertainment networks during Wednesday prime.
