60 MINUTES Special finished the week as the third-most watched primetime television broadcast in America.
The program drew 14.45m viewers to rank #3 for the week. 60 MINUTES Special also made the Top 10 in households at #3, scoring an 8.7 rating and 14 share, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Jan. 1.
60 MINUTES Special was the week's #1 non-sports program.
Sunday's broadcast featured Lesley Stahl's profile of House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, SAT cheating scandal scammer Sam Eshaghoff interviewed by Alison Stewart, and Lara Logan's story about Alex Honnold, the "freestyle" climber who scales sheer cliffs using only his hands and feet.
CBS News Chairman Jeff Fager is the executive producer of 60 MINUTES, America's #1 news program.
