FOX FINISHES THE FALL RANKED NO. 1 AMONG ADULTS 18-49, ADULTS 18-34 AND TEENS

Network Posts Year-Over-Year Lifts on 5 of 7 Nights, Achieves +16% Viewership Gain Versus Last Fall

With the season finales of TERRA NOVA and THE X FACTOR last week, FOX finished the fourth quarter tied for first place among Adults 18-49 - a rank it has achieved only once before - and won the quarter outright in the Adults 18-34 and Teen demos. In addition, FOX was the only network to post double-digit gains among both Adults 18-49 (+14%) and Total Viewers (+16%) versus last fall, and saw year-over-year ratings lifts on 5 nights of the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).

This fall, FOX had:

On Monday, the two-hour finale of TERRA NOVA delivered a 2.2/6 in Adults 18-49, up +5% in the core demo and also up +4% in Total Viewers (7.2 vs. 6.9 Mil).

TERRA NOVA posted its highest Teens rating since its series premiere on 9/26/11, matching its series high. TERRA NOVA was also the highest rated program of the night in Men 18-49.

FOX won the night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

Despite a -6% drop in Adults 18-49 TV usage versus the previous week, THE X FACTOR performance finale (Top 3) posted a 3.3/10, up +4% in Total Viewers (11.2 vs. 10.8 Mil) and +14% in Teens (2.4 vs. 2.1).

THE X FACTOR was the highest rated program of the night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34/25-54 and Teens. Showing momentum, THE X FACTOR gained +23% in its last half hour vs. its first in Adults 18-49 (half-hours: 3.0 > 3.3 > 3.7).

At 9:30p I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER posted a 2.0/6, up +11% from the previous week in Adults 18-49, +7% in Adults 18-34 (1.6 vs. 1.5) and +14% in Total Viewers (5.8 vs. 5.1 Mil.) I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER was the second highest rated program of the night (behind THE X FACTOR) in Adults 18-34 and it won its half hour in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

THURSDAY

8:00-10:00 THE X FACTOR- THU: (Adults 18-49: 3.8/11, 12.6 Mil Total Viewers)

FOX won Thursday night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34/25-54 and Teens.

THE X FACTOR season one finale posted a 3.8/11, up +31% from the previous week among Adults 18-49 (vs. 2.9/9), +27% in Adults 18-34 (2.8/10 vs. 2.2/8), +58% in Teens (3.0/11 vs. 1.9/7) and +27% in Total Viewers (12.6 vs. 9.9 Mil).
