NICKELODEON CLOSES THE WEEK AS THE TOP CABLE NET WITH KIDS AND TOTAL VIEWERS

NEW YORK - Nov. 15, 2011 - Nickelodeon closed the week as the number-one cable net with kids 2-11 (3.1/1.1 million) and total viewers (2.0 million). The weekly win was fueled by the premiere of the newest addition to Nick's hit animated roster, Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, which posted a solid ratings performance, averaging 3.1 million total viewers and a 5.1/1.8 million K2-11, in its special 5:30 p.m. premiere week time slot. For the week, the series also ranks as the number two animated program with kids 2-11, kids 6-11 and tweens 9-14, behind only SpongeBob SquarePants.
Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness - from DreamWorks Animation's hit franchise - follows Po the Panda (Mick Wingert, Kung Fu Panda Holiday Special) as he grows into the role of the Dragon Warrior and is aided by his mentor Shifu and the Furious Five: Tigress, Mantis, Crane, Monkey and Viper. As the newest hero in the Valley of Peace, Po is now living at the Jade Palace with the rest of the Furious Five and takes on new responsibilities while facing brand-new adversaries in his continuing education as the Dragon Warrior.
