NBC RATINGS RESULTS FOR THE LATE-NIGHT WEEK OF OCT. 24-28

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - November 3, 2011 - NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" has averaged a 0.9 rating, 3 share in adults 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers overall for the week of October 24-28, matching the show's year-ago 18-49 rating and growing 6 percent in total viewers. "Tonight" tied CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" in adult 18-49 rating with a 0.9 each and "Tonight" topped "Late Show" in total viewers by a season-high 19 percent margin (3.819 million vs. 3.215 million). During the same week last year, "Late Show" led in total viewers by 6 percent.
At 12:35 a.m. ET for the October 24-28 week, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" delivered a 0.6/3 in adults 18-49 and 1.9 million viewers overall, equaling the show's year-ago 18-49 rating and gaining 14 percent in total viewers.
Through the first six weeks of the season, "Tonight" has increased its total-viewer margin over "Late Show" to 11 percent (3.634 million vs. 3.268 million), up from the year-ago advantage of 2 percent. Jimmy Fallon has established a total-viewer lead over CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" this season of 15 percent (1.739 million vs. 1.506 million), after trailing by 6 percent one year ago. In viewers 18-49, Jimmy's lead over "Late Late Show" this season is 16 percent (721,000 vs. 624,000), up from a 12 percent margin at this point last season.
Last week at 1:35 a.m. ET, "Last Call with Carson Daly" was up by 20 percent versus the same week last year in total viewers, with 1.013 million persons versus the year-ago 847,000.
