ABC Late-Night (Monday - Friday)

With its late-night lineup of "Nightline" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" during the week of October 24, 2011, ABC edged out CBS in Total Viewers (2.286 million vs. 2.281 million) and NBC in Adults 18-49 (796,000 vs. 788,000).

"Nightline" (Monday - Friday)

For the week of October 24, 2011, ABC's "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in late-night for the 4th week in a row among Adults 25-54 (1.446 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.165 million), according to Nielsen Media Research. The ABC late-night program has taken the top spot in the key adult news demo in all 6 weeks of the season.

Season to date for the 2nd straight year, "Nightline" ranks No. 1 in late-night among Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49, ahead of both NBC's "The Tonight Show" and CBS' "The Late Show" ("Letterman" began on CBS in the 1993-94 season). Season to date, "Nightline" is up by 2% in Total Viewers compared to the same point last year, standing as the only program to grow year to year in Total Viewers versus "The Tonight Show" and "The Late Show."

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" (Monday - Friday)

ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" turned in its 2nd-most-watched week of originals (1.761 million) this season during the week of October 24, 2011, marking its best performance in Total Viewers since season-premiere week (w/o 9/19/11).

· Despite airing opposite the second half-hour of President Obama's visit on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Tuesday (10/25/10), "JKL" produced its most-watched telecast (2.006 million) on any night in nearly 3 months - since 8/1/11. On Tuesday, "JKL's" guests included Hugh Laurie, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Beavis and Butt-Head and "Dancing with the Stars" castoff Chaz Bono.

· ABC's "JKL" (M-F 12:00 a.m.) outperformed CBS' "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (M-F 12:35 a.m.) by 23% in Total Viewers (1.761 million vs. 1.429 million) and by 10% in Adults 18-49 (667,000 vs. 609,000), leading the CBS late-night program for the 6th time in the season's 6 weeks in both viewers and young adults.
