FOX POSTS TV'S HIGHEST-RATED WEEK THIS SEASON

2011 World Series, THE X FACTOR, HOUSE and TERRA NOVA Put FOX on Top Among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers

FOX dominated the competition last week, winning 5 of 7 nights among Adults 18-49 and posting TV's highest-rated week so far this season. Thanks to strong turnouts for the 2011 WORLD SERIES, THE X FACTOR and TERRA NOVA, FOX averaged a 3.6/10 among Adults 18-49 - +38% higher than the second place network - and won the week among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens and Total Viewers.

FOX remains the only broadcast network to post a year-over-year gain in the core adult demo this season and this week increased its improvement over last Fall among both Adults 18-49 (+17%) and Total Viewers (+23%).

Nightly and Program Highlights - October 17 - 23, 2011

MONDAY

8:00-9:00 TERRA NOVA: (Adults 18-49: 2.8/8, 8.3 Mil Total Viewers)

9:00-10:00 HOUSE: (Adults 18-49: 3.1/7, 8.3 Mil Total Viewers)

8:00-10:00 FOX PRIME: (Adults 18-49: 3.0/7, 8.3 Mil Total Viewers)

Coming back from the previous week's delayed telecast following an MLB over-run, TERRA NOVA posted a 2.8/8 among Adults 18-49, up +12% (vs. 2.5/6) in the core demo. TERRA NOVA also showed impressive +19% growth over its previous telecast in Total Viewers (8.3 vs. 7.0 Mil.).

At 9p HOUSE delivered a 3.1/7 among Adults 18-49 -- up +15% from the previous week's late-airing telecast (vs. 2.7/7) -- and gained +20% in Total Viewers (8.3 vs. 6.9 Mil.). HOUSE tied as the highest rated drama of the night among Adults 18-49 and was the #1 drama of the night in Adults 18-34.

Overall, FOX placed third on Monday among Adults 18-49, #2 among Adults 18-34 and #1 in Teens.

TUESDAY

8:00-10:00 THE X-FACTOR-TUE SP (S): (Adults 18-49: 3.9/10, 10.4 Mil Total Viewers)

FOX won Tuesday night across Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens and posted its largest Tuesday night advantage over the competition in the core adult so far this season (+22% over CBS). The show also delivered FOX's most-watched Tuesday of the season in Total Viewers (10.4 Mil.)

Despite airing out of pattern, the special Tuesday telecast of THE X FACTOR (Judges House #3) posted a 3.9/10 among Adults 18-49, up +5% over the previous Thursday's 'Judges House #1' and up +15% compared to the previous special Sunday 'Judges House #2' telecast (vs. 3.4/8).

THE X FACTOR was the #1 program on Tuesday night among Adults 18-49 (tied with NCIS), Adults 18-34 and Teens.

FOX has won every Tuesday night this season in Adults 18-49 with entertainment programming.

So far this season THE X FACTOR has won the night with every airing against entertainment programming (excludes only Sunday 10/16/11).
