UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - July 6, 2011 -With "The Voice" and "America's Got Talent" accounting for the week's top four telecasts in both adults 18-49 and total viewers, NBC has won the primetime week of June 27-July 3 in adults 18-49 and total viewers, averaging a 1.6 rating, 6 share in adults 18-49 and 5.8 million viewers overall, according to in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

It's the third week in a row NBC has led in adults 18-49 and total viewers, marking the first time since the weeks of February 8-14 through February 22-28, 2010 (during the Vancouver Olympics) that NBC has won both 18-49 and total viewers for three consecutive weeks.

NBC ranked #1 this week among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in all key demographic measures - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers -- including a tie for #1 with Fox in men 18-34.

Versus the same week last year, NBC was up by double-digit percentages in every key ratings category, including a gain of 23 percent in adults 18-49 (with a 1.6 rating vs. a 1.3) and an increase of 22 percent in total viewers (5.8 million vs. 4.7 million).

NBC programmed the top four shows of the week on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW in both adults 18-49 and total viewers. The Tuesday edition of "The Voice" was the #1 program of the week in adults 18-49, followed by the Wednesday telecast of "America's Got Talent," the Wednesday "Voice" results show and the Tuesday "Talent." In total viewers, the Wednesday edition of "America's Got Talent" was #1 for the week, followed by the Tuesday "Voice," the Tuesday "Talent" and the Wednesday "Voice."

This is the fifth week in a row that "The Voice" has been the #1 entertainment telecast in adults 18-49 and "America's Got Talent" has been #2.

"The Voice" and "America's Got Talent" combined to account for at least the top three telecasts of the week in every key ratings category.

Primetime averages for the week of June 27-July 3 in adults 18-49 were NBC (1.6/6), ABC (1.3/4), Fox (1.2/4), CBS (1.0/3) and CW (0.3/1). In overall total viewers the weekly averages were NBC (5.8 million), CBS (5.5 million), ABC (4.6 million), Fox (3.4 million) and CW (0.7 million).

NBC highlights for the week of June 27-July 3:

* On Tuesday, "America's Got Talent" won the 8-9 p.m. ET time period versus ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in all key ratings categories.

* Against time-period competition that included ABC's "Wipeout" and Fox's "Master Chef," Tuesday's "Talent" generated an 83 percent margin of victory in 18-49 rating.

* Also on Tuesday, "The Voice," was the #1 program of the night in adults 18-49 and total viewers, amassing the show's biggest overall audience since May 31.

* The 4.4 rating in adults 18-49 achieved by "The Voice" on Tuesday was higher than the rating of every non-sports telecast to air last summer on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW, with the sole exception of the "Glee" finale, which delivered a 4.7 rating on June 8, 2010.

* NBC dominated all six half-hours of primetime Tuesday in adults 18-49 and total viewers and won the night in all key measures.

* On Wednesday, the season-one finale of "The Voice" won the 8 p.m. ET hour in all key categories with NBC's highest non-sports 18-49 rating in the time period since January 2008 and biggest overall viewership since September 2010.

* Also on Wednesday, "America's Got Talent" scored the highest 18-49 rating for a non-finale Wednesday "Talent" since July 2006, to win the slot in all key categories and finish #1 for the night in 18-49 and total viewers.

* Wednesday's 10 p.m. ET debut of "Love in the Wild" improved by 29 percent on NBC's average in the time period last summer in 18-49 and was #1 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in all key demos.

* NBC won Wednesday among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, total viewers and all other key categories, marking NBC's fourth consecutive Wednesday win in both 18-49 and total viewers.

* Friday's "Dateline NBC" grew from its first half-hour to its fourth by 63 percent in 18-49 rating and 52 percent in total viewers..

* On Sunday, "The Marriage Ref" tied for the #1 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox in adults 18-49. For the 10 p.m. ET hour, "The Marriage Ref" ranked #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in all key demographics.

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

Additional NBC highlights for the week of June 27-July 3

On Monday, June 27 from 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (1.4/5 in 18-49, 5.9 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and total viewers. The "Talent" rebroadcast grew from its first half-hour to its second in all key ratings categories.

At 9 p.m. ET, "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" averaged a 1.0/3 in 18-49 and 4.8 million viewers overall.

At 10 p.m. ET, "Law & Order: LA" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 6.3 million viewers overall) captured its highest 18-49 rating in three weeks. In the time slot, "Law & Order: LA" ranked #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and most other key categories.

On Tuesday, June 28 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (3.3/11 in 18-49, 12.5 million viewers overall) won its hour among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, total viewers and all other key demographics. Against time-period competition that included ABC's "Wipeout" and Fox's "Master Chef," "America's Got Talent" generated winning margins of 83 percent in 18-49 rating (with a 3.3 vs. a 1.8 for both "Wipeout" and "Chef") and 49 percent in total viewers (12.5 million vs. 8.4 million for CBS's second-place "NCIS" encore). From its first half-hour to its second, "America's Got Talent" grew by 17 percent in both 18-49 rating (to a 3.5 from a 3.0) and total viewers (13.4 million vs. 11.5 million).

Versus NBC's average in this time period last summer, "America's Got Talent" was up 120 percent in 18-49 rating (with a 3.3 rating vs. a 1.5, "live plus same day," non-sports) and up 140 percent in total viewers (12.462 million vs. 5.198 million).

Tuesday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "The Voice" (4.4/12 in adults 18-49, 12.7 million viewers overall) delivered the #1 results of the night in adults 18-49 and total viewers and won its two-hour time period among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in every key ratings category -- adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.

With an average 12.7 million viewers, "The Voice" generated its largest overall audience in four weeks (since May 31).

"The Voice" scored an 18-49 rating that is higher than the result of every non-sports telecast to air last summer on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW, with the sole exception of the "Glee" finale, which delivered a 4.7 rating on June 8, 2010. Versus NBC's average in this time period last summer, "The Voice" was up 43 percent in 18-49 rating (4.3 vs. 3.0, "live plus same day," non-sports). For its second hour from 10-11 p.m., "The Voice" topped the ABC-CBS competition combined in every key ratings category and doubled that combined competition in adults, men and women 18-34; adults, men and women 18-49; and adults and women 25-54.

NBC dominated all six Tuesday primetime half-hours in 18-49 and total viewers. NBC ranked #1 for the night in all key ratings categories, including adults 18-34, adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers. It's NBC's third consecutive Tuesday win in 18-49 and fifth in a row in total viewers.

On Wednesday, June 29, at 8 p.m.. ET, the season-one finale of "The Voice" (3.7/13 in adults 18-49, 11.0 million viewers overall) scored NBC's highest non-sports 18-49 rating in the time period in more than three years (since January 23, 2008) and biggest overall viewership in nine months (since September 15, 2010). Week to week, "The Voice" grew by 12 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 3.7 rating from a 3.3) and 10 percent in total viewers (11.046 million vs. 10.007 million). The 3.7 rating in 18-49 tops every non-sports primetime program carried on ABC, CBS or Fox since the end of the May sweep.

"The Voice" won the 8-9 p.m. ET hour among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in all key ratings categories -- adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers. From its first half-hour to its second, "The Voice" grew substantially in all key ratings categories, including increases of 15 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 3.9 from a 3.4) and 16 percent in total viewers (11.9 million vs. 10.2 million).

The June 29 telecast of "The Voice" was up 95 percent versus NBC's average in the Wednesday 8-9 p.m. hour last summer (with a 3.7 rating vs. a 1.9, "live plus same day," non-sports) and 60 percent in total viewers (11.046 million vs. 6.895 million).

Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (4.1/12 in 18-49, 13.7 million viewers overall) scored the highest 18-49 rating for a non-finale Wednesday edition of "Talent" in nearly five years (since July 5, 2006, during the show's first season). It's also NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period since September 15, 2010.

The June 29 "Talent" was the night's #1 telecast on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key categories. "Talent" won the time period in adults 18-49, total viewers and all other key demos. This week's telecast is up 37 percent versus NBC's averages in the Wednesday 9-10 p.m. ET hour last summer (with a 4.1 rating vs. a 3.0 in 18-49, "live plus same day," non-sports) and up 19 percent in total viewers (13.710 million vs. 11.564 million).

Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET, the debut of "Love in the Wild" (2.2/6 in 18-49, 6.5 million viewers overall) was up 29 percent versus NBC's average in the time period last summer in 18-49 (2.2 vs. 1.7, "live plus same day," non-sports). "Love in the Wild" was #1 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in all key demos and beat ABC and CBS combined in adults 18-34.

NBC won Wednesday night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, total viewers and all other key categories. It was NBC's fourth consecutive Wednesday win in both 18-49 and total viewers.

On Thursday, June 30 at 8 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Community" delivered a 0.6/2 in 18-49 and 2.1 million viewers overall. At 8:30 p.m., a rebroadcast of "30 Rock" averaged a 0.7/2 in 18-49 and 2.0 million viewers overall.

Thursday from 9-9:31 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "The Office" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 2.4 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 43 percent in 18-49 rating and 20 percent in total viewers. From 9:31-10 p.m., a rebroadcast "Parks and Recreation" delivered a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 2.0 million viewers overall.

Thursday at 10 p.m. ET, "Love Bites" averaged a 0.7/2 in 18-49 and 1.8 million viewers overall.

On Friday, July 1 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Friday Night Lights" averaged a 0.6/3 in 18-49 and 2.5 million viewers overall.

Friday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" delivered a 1.1/4 in 18-49 and 4.7 million viewers overall, to finish #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in the time period in adults 18-49 and total viewers. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Dateline" grew by 63 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.3 from a 0.8) and 52 percent or 1.9 million persons in total viewers (5.5 million vs. 3.6 million).

On Saturday, July 2 at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Minute To Win It" delivered an 0.4/2 in 18-49 and 2.1 million viewers overall. At 9 p.m., a rebroadcast of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" averaged a 0.4/2 in 18-49 and 2.4 million viewers overall.

Saturday at 10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: LA" (0.7/2 in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in all key ratings categories. "Law & Order: LA" built on its lead-in by 75 percent in 18-49 and 27 percent in total viewers.

On Sunday, July 3, from 7-8 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" delivered a 0.6/3 in 18-49 and 3.4 million viewers overall. From 8-10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" averaged a 0.9/4 in 18-49 and 4.0 million viewers overall. In the time period, "Talent" is #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and total viewers.

Sunday at 10 p.m. ET, "The Marriage Ref" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 3.7 million viewers overall) is tied for the #1 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox in adults 18-49. For the 10 p.m. hour, "The Marriage Ref" ranked #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in all key demographics -- adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54. In adults 18-49, the "Marriage Ref" margin of victory for the hour was 71 percent (1.2 vs. 0.7 for CBS's second-place "CSI: Miami" encore). "The Marriage Ref" built on the 8-10 p.m. rating for "America's Got Talent" by 33 percent, up from the prior week's gain of 6 percent.
