During 2Q11, Disney XD delivered its No. 1 quarter in the network's history in Total Day (includes Toon Disney) in Total Viewers (306,000) and across all key kid targets: Kids 6-14 (163,000), Boys 6-14 (101,000), Kids 6-11 (131,000), Boys 6-11 (82,000), Tweens 9-14 (104,000) and Tween Boys (67,000).
In Prime, 2Q11 also wrapped as Disney XD's No. 1 quarter on record among Kids 6-14 (199,000), Boys 6-14 (130,000), Kids 6-11 (159,000), Boys 6-11 (106,000), Tweens 9-14 (128,000) and Boys 9-14 (85,000), and its 2nd-most-watched quarter ever in Total Viewers (346,000), behind only holiday-fueled 4Q10.
Impressively, 2Q11 marked Disney XD's 10th consecutive quarter growing its Total Day and Prime audience among its key kid and boy demos - dates back to 1Q09, the quarter Disney XD launched.
· In Total Day, DXD doubled Nicktoons among Tweens 9-14 (104,000 vs. 52,000), and again held the definitive edge in all remaining kid demos: Kids 6-14 (92% - 163,000 vs. 85,000), Boys 6-14 (60% - 101,000 vs. 63,000), Kids 6-11 (98% - 131,000 vs. 66,000), Boys 6-11 (71% - 82,000 vs. 48,000) and Tween Boys (76% - 67,000 vs. 38,000).
· In Prime, DXD also surpassed Nicktoons by sizeable margins, outperforming the network by 47% in Kids 6-14 (199,000 vs. 135,000), by 25% in Boys 6-14 (130,000 vs. 104,000), by 43% among Kids 6-11 (159,000 vs. 111,000), by 23% in Boys 6-11 (106,000 vs. 86,000), by 71% among Tweens 9-14 (128,000 vs. 75,000) and by 52% among Tween Boys (85,000 vs. 56,000).
Programming Highlights
· On June 20, one week after its record setting premiere, the fifth airing of "Kickin' It" hit series highs across all demos to rank as Disney XD's No. 1 original series telecast of all time in Kids 6-14 (819,000), Kids 6-11 (684,000) and Tweens 9-14 (567,000), and its No. 1 live-action telecast of all time in Total Viewers (1.2 million).
· On Monday, May 2, "Pair of Kings" posted series highs across the board: Total Viewers (970,000), Kids 6-14 (641,000), Boys 6-14 (378,000), Kids 6-11 (478,000), Tweens 9-14 (505,000) and Boys 9-14 (301,000).
· Also on Monday, May 2, "Zeke and Luther" posted a series high in Boys 9-14 (270,000), delivered its No. 2 telecast of all time in Kids 6-14 (544,000), Boys 6-14 (353,000), Kids 6-11 (433,000), Boys 6-11 (272,000) and Tweens 9-14 (414,000), and became the show's No. 3 telecast of all time in Total Viewers (751,000).
Disney XD is a basic cable channel and multi-platform brand showcasing a compelling mix of live-action and animated programming for Kids age 6-14, hyper-targeting boys and their quest for discovery, accomplishment, sports, adventure and humor.
