Boasting the week's Top 2 cable telecasts with "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" and "Pretty Little Liars," and the Top 3 scripted cable telecasts with "Switched at Birth" in the mix, ABC Family ranked as cable's No. 1 network in Prime in Women 18-34 (295,000) for the second consecutive week, and edged past TBS to rank No. 1 this week in Adults 18-34 (436,000). In addition, ABC Family ranked No. 2 in Women 18-49 (474,000) and No. 6 in Total Viewers (1.5 million), its highest competitive weekly rank of 2011 to date.
Powered by an ever-expanding slate of hit original series, this week stood as ABC Family's most-watched week of 2011 to date in Adults 18-34, Women 18-34, Viewers 12-34 and Females 12-34.
· Monday's all new "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" (8:00 - 9:00 p.m.) stood as the week's No. 1 cable telecast in Women 18-34 and Women 18-49, and placed No. 2 in Females 12-34 (1.6 million/3.5 rating), behind only "Pretty Little Liars."
· Monday's original "Pretty Little Liars" (9:00 - 10:00 p.m.) ranked as the week's No. 1 cable telecast in Viewers 12-34 (2.5 million/2.6 rating) and Females 12-34 (2.1 million/4.5 rating), and was the No. 2 scripted cable telecast in Women 18-34 (995,000/2.9 rating) and Women 18-49 (1.4 million/2.1 rating).
· In its second week, "Switched at Birth" hit a series high in key demos and delivered impressive gains over its debut, jumping by 20% in Adults 18-34 (1.2 million vs. 1.0 million), by 30% in Women 18-34 (979,000 vs. 754,000), by 13% in Viewers 12-34 (1.8 million vs. 1.6 million) and by 15% in Females 12-34 (1.5 million vs. 1.3 million).
· "Switched at Birth" ranked as cable's No. 3 scripted telecast in Women 18-34 (979,000/2.9 rating), Women 18-49 (1.3 million/2.0 rating) and Females 12-34 (1.5 million/3.3 rating), behind only "Pretty Little Liars" and "The Secret Life of the American Teenager."
· The launch of "The Nine Lives of Chloe King" stood as the week's No. 4 scripted cable telecast in Females 12-34 (1.1 million/2.2 rating) and was cable's No. 3 scripted telecast in Female Teens (623,000/5.2 rating).
