Saturday's Broadcast Ratings: Penultimate "Cops," "AMW" Power FOX

Here are the highlights of the nine ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night:

FOX (4.08 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) was the network to beat on Saturday with the penultimate weeks of "Cops" (3.64 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T2) and "America's Most Wanted" (4.52 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1).

CBS (4.48 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T2) then was the most-watched network with a new "Chaos" (3.23 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8) followed by repeats of "NCIS" (4.60 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5) and "48 Hours Mystery" (5.61 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T2).

Next up was ABC (2.64 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T2) with encores of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" (2.61 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5) and "Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition" (2.69 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4).

And finally, the original movie "Field of Vision" (2.69 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8) led into a repeat of "Law & Order: Los Angeles" (3.57 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5) on NBC (2.98 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4).

Here are the highlights of the 10 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (6/12/10):

FOX (4.18 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) took home another low-key victory on Saturday thanks to its mainstays "Cops" (3.95 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) and "America's Most Wanted" (4.42 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1).

The silver then went to NBC (3.73 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #2) and its mix of "America's Got Talent" (3.28 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5), "Law & Order" (3.69 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5) and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (4.23 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3).

Next up was CBS (3.90 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #3) with a new "Three Rivers" (3.13 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9) followed by repeats of "Cold Case" (3.65 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.6, #8) and "48 Hours Mystery" (4.92 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3).

And finally, encores of "The Bachelorette" (1.77 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9) and "Castle" (3.20 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5) on ABC (2.25 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4) rounded out the evening.
