May 2011 Prime and Total Day Highlights:
ABC Family recorded best-ever May deliveries in Prime in Total Viewers (1.3 million), Adults 18-34 (331,000), Women 18-34 (210,000), Adults 18-49 (587,000), Women 18-49 (371,000), Viewers 12-34 (534,000) and Females 12-34 (356,000), surging by hefty double-digit percentages year to year across all target demos.
· ABC Family secured Top-5 ranks in Prime among Women 18-34 (No. 5), Women 18-49 (No. 4) and Females 12-34 (No. 4), and among the Top 10 in Total Viewers (No. 8), Adults 18-34 (No. 10), Adults 18-49 (No. 9) and Viewers 12-34 (No. 9).
· Year-to-year, ABC Family posted across the board double-digit percent increases, including by 18% in Total Viewers (1.3 million vs. 1.1 million), by 23% in Adults 18-34 (331,000 vs. 269,000), by 17% in Adults 18-49 (587,000 vs. 502,000) and by 28% in Viewers 12-34 (534,000 vs. 416,000).
In Total Day, May 2011 wrapped as ABC Family's most-watched May of all time in Total Viewers (649,000), Adults 18-34 (187,000) and Adults 18-49 (314,000), increasing by an impressive 19% over year ago levels in viewers, and by 14% apiece in the demos
Programming Highlights:
· "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" stood as cable's No. 1 series among Females 12-34 (1.4 million/3.1 rating), cable's No. 1 scripted series among Women 18-34 (760,000/2.2 rating) and Viewers 12-34 (1.7 million/1.8 rating), and cable's No. 2 scripted original series among Women 18-49 (1.2 million/1.8 rating).
· "Make It or Break It" was the month's No. 2 scripted original series in Females 12-34 (897,000/1.9 rating) and cable's No. 2 series overall in Female Teens (508,000/4.2 rating).
