FOX Wins the Week, Tops February Sweep

FOX WINS THE WEEK, TOPS FEBRUARY SWEEP

Thanks to week-over-week gains on Monday, a season-high Tuesday, a record-breaking Thursday and another nightly win on Saturday, FOX averaged a 4.0/12 among Adults 18-49 with 11.6 million viewers last week and ranked No. 1 in both the adult demo and Total Viewers. In addition, FOX dominated the February 2011 sweep, outperforming the next highest-rated network by +114% (6.2 vs. CBS' 2.9).

Season to date, FOX is averaging a 3.5/10 among Adults 18-49 and continues to lead the competition this season by half of a ratings point. Key highlights from last week include:

· FOX saw week-over-week gains on Monday, led by an original episode of HOUSE:

· HOUSE posted a 3.8/11 among Adults 18-49, up +9% from the previous week (3.5/9) and was the highest-rated program of the night in A18-49, A18-34, Teens and A25-54.

· Last Monday, HOUSE posted its second-largest audience in Total Viewers of the season (11.0 Mil), its largest Teens audience of the season so far (1.9/6) and won the 8p hour in the core adult demo, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

· On Tuesday, FOX's AMERICAN IDOL and RAISING HOPE gave FOX the highest rated Tuesday night on any network this season among Adults 18-49 (excluding sports).

· Tuesday's AMERICAN IDOL (7.6/21) gained +6% from the previous Thursday and was the highest rated program of the night in all key demos

· RAISING HOPE posted a 3.3/9 among Adults 18-49, up +38% from the previous week�its highest rating in the adult demo and Total Viewers ever.

· With originals of AMERICAN IDOL and TRAFFIC LIGHT, FOX won Wednesday night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, and virtually all key demos and beat the next highest-rated network by +103% in the core adult demo and +58% in Total Viewers.

· The Top 12 Girls performed on AMERICAN IDOL on Wednesday and posted a 7.8/22 among Adults 18-49, up +4% in Adults 18-49 versus the comparable telecast last year and up +10% in Total Viewers.

· At 9:30p new comedy TRAFFIC LIGHT delivered a 2.8/8 - its highest rating ever - among Adults 18-49, up +75% from its performance in the demo the previous week

· On Thursday, FOX posted the highest rated Thursday night on any network in four years among A18-49 and Total Viewers, excluding sports.

· The season's first live AMERICAN IDOL results show posted a 8.2/24 among Adults 18-49 with 25.3 Mil Total Viewers, posting its highest-rated Thursday telecast this season among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers.

· Thursday's AMERICAN IDOL was up +30% in both Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers versus the comparable telecast last year.

· So far this season with Comparable Most Current ratings AMERICAN IDOL retains 93% of last year's same telecasts in A18-49 and 99% in Total Viewers.

· FOX's Saturday staples delivered a nightly win that evening among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Adults 25-54

· COPS at 8p and 8:30pm ranked No. 1 among most adult demos, Teens, and virtually all male and female demos in their respective half hours.

AMERICAN IDOL posted a 7.6/21 in Adults 18-49, up +6% from last Thursday (vs. 7.2/20). AMERICAN IDOL was the highest rated program of the night in all key demos and outperformed the next highest rated program of the night by +100% in A18-49 (7.6 vs. NCIS' 3.8) and +11% in Total Viewers (21.4 vs. NCIS, 19.2 Mil.)

AMERICAN IDOL was up +4% in A18-49 versus the comparable telecast last year (vs. 7.5/20 on 3/10/10) and up +10% in Total Viewers (vs. 20.7 Mil.)

Versus last Wednesday's performance AMERICAN IDOL retained 99% in A18-49 (7.8 vs. 7.9) and retained 100% in Total Viewers (22.8 vs. 22.7 Mil.)

At 9:30p new comedy TRAFFIC LIGHT posted a 2.8/8 among Adults 18-49, up +75% from its performance in the demo the previous week (1.6/4 on Tue 9:30p, 2/22/11).

TRAFFIC LIGHT posted its highest ratings ever in A18-49, Total Viewers and all key demos.

In head to head competition in the 9:30p half hour TRAFFIC LIGHT outperformed ABC's new comedy Mr. Sunshine by +17% in A18-49 (2.8/8 vs. 2.4/7).

TRAFFIC LIGHT ranked #2 in its half hour among A18-49, Total Viewers, A18-34, and Teens.

THURSDAY

8:00-10:01 AMERICAN IDOL: (ADULTS 18-49: 8.2/24, 25.3 Mil Total Viewers)

A two hour AMERICAN IDOL posted a 8.2/24 among Adults 18-49 with 25.3 Mil Total Viewers, posting its highest Thursday telecast this season among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers.

FOX has won seven consecutive in-season Thursday nights for the first time ever in A18-49 and Total Viewers.

FOX posted the highest rated Thursday night (ex. sports) on any network in four years among A18-49 (since 3/8/07) and Total Viewers (since 3/1/07).

Compared to last Thursday's performance AMERICAN IDOL grew by +14% among A18-49 (8.2/24 vs. 7.2/20) and +16% among Total Viewers (25.3 vs. 21.8 Mil.)

AMERICAN IDOL led FOX to the network's most dominant Thursday night in its history among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers, with an advantage of +61% among Adults 18-49 over the combined 4-Net nightly competition (ABC/CBS/NBC/CW) (8.2 vs. 5.1) and +45% in Total Viewers (25.3 vs. 17.4 Mil.)
