A&E BECOMES THE MOST-WATCHED CABLE NETWORK ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT AMONG ADULTS 18-49 AND 25-54
NEW YORK, NY - January 27, 2010 - A&E Network was the number one cable network on Wednesday, January 26 among adults 18-49 and 25-54. The network had the two most-watched original entertainment programs on cable last night in all key demos with the premiere of the 200th episode of the long-running series "Dog the Bounty Hunter" and a new episode of the hit series "Storage Wars."
An all-new episode of one of A&E's newest hit series "Storage Wars" at 10:30PM became the most-watched episode in the franchise's history and the number one original cable program for the night across all key demos with an incredible 3.3 million total viewers, 2.1 million adults 25-54 and 2.0 million adults 18-49.
The 9:00PM premiere of the 200th episode of A&E's longest-running original series "Dog the Bounty Hunter" became the most-watched episode since 2006 for the series with more than 3 million total viewers, as well as 1.8 million adults 18-49 and 1.6 million adults 25-54. The episode was the number 2 original entertainment cable program of the night.
