FIRST EVER "WAREHOUSE 13" AND "EUREKA" HOLIDAY EPISODES POWER SYFY TO BEST TUESDAY PRIME IN ADULTS 18-49 AND ADULTS 25-54 SINCE JULY

NEW YORK - December 8, 2010 - The first ever holiday episodes of Syfy's most popular scripted series, Warehouse 13 and Eureka, delivered a winter wonderland of ratings during their premieres on Tuesday, December 7, posting the channel's most watched Tuesday night in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 since July.

At 9PM (ET/PT), Eureka drew 1.92 million total viewers, 913,000 Adults 25-54 and 772,000 Adults 18-49 with a 1.4 HH rating.

At 10PM (ET/PT), Warehouse 13 snagged, bagged and tagged 2.02 million total viewers, 1.06 million Adults 25-54 and 889,000 Adults 18-49, averaging a 1.5 HH rating. Warehouse 13 was also the #2 original series telecast on basic cable in prime among Adults 25-54.

Both series aired during Syfy's first Countdown to Christmas Week, which runs through December 12 and includes holiday-themed episodes of Hollywood Treasure, Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files, WWE Friday Night SmackDown and the Syfy Saturday Original Movie Ice Quake.

The Eureka episode featured former series regular Matt Frewer returning as Taggert, while Warehouse 13 showcased guest stars Judd Hirsch as the estranged father of Artie Nielsen (Saul Rubinek) and Paul Blackthorne as a harried work-a-holic.

Eureka seems like any other cozy, Pacific Northwest town, but is actually a secret community of geniuses assembled by the government to conduct top-secret research. What they've unwittingly created is a place where anything imaginable can happen... and does. Eureka stars Colin Ferguson, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Joe Morton and James Callis. The series also stars Erica Cerra ("Jo Lupo"), Neil Grayston ("Douglas Fargo"), Niall Matter ("Zane Donovan") and features Jordon Hinson ("Zoe Carter"). Returning special guest stars include Jaime Ray Newman ("Dr. Tess Fontana") and Matt Frewer ("Taggart"). Co-creator Jaime Paglia and Bruce Miller are Executive Producers.

Warehouse 13 follows two Secret Service agents who find themselves abruptly transferred to a massive, top-secret storage facility in windswept South Dakota which houses every strange artifact, mysterious relic, fantastical object and preternatural souvenir ever collected by the U.S. government. The Warehouse's caretaker Artie Nielsen (Saul Rubinek) charges Agents Pete Lattimer (Eddie McClintock) and Myka Bering (Joanne Kelly) with chasing down reports of supernatural and paranormal activity in search of new objects to cache at the Warehouse, as well as helping him to control the Warehouse itself. Allison Scagliotti plays Claudia Donovan, Artie's apprentice.

Both shows are produced by Universal Cable Productions.
