CBS Number One in Viewers for the Third Consecutive Week

"Flashpoint" Viewer Winning Streak Hits Six Weeks

CBS placed first in viewers for the third consecutive week and first in adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending July 11, week 42 of the 2009-2010 television year.

CBS had the top nine scripted series: NCIS; THE MENTALIST; NCIS: LOS ANGELES; THE BIG BANG THEORY � 7/5; TWO AND A HALF MEN � 7/5; CSI: MIAMI � 7/5; CSI: NY; CRIMINAL MINDS and CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION. THE BIG BANG THEORY � 7/5 was the week's top scripted program in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

BIG BROTHER THURSDAY and BIG BROTHER SUNDAY premiered with time- period wins in key demographics and gains over last year's premieres.

For the week in viewers: CBS (6.27m), NBC (5.15m), ABC (4.89m) and FOX (4.33m). Summer-to-date among viewers, CBS (6.51m) is first, ahead of ABC (6.38m), NBC (5.46m) and FOX (5.04m).

For the week in households: CBS (4.0/07), NBC (3.2/06), ABC (3.1/06) and FOX (2.7/05). Summer-to-date in households, CBS is first (4.3/08), ahead of ABC (3.9/07), NBC (3.4/06) and FOX (3.1/06).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (1.9/06) and averaged a 1.3/04 in adults 18-49.

CBS Weekly Highlights:

? BIG BROTHER THURSDAY (P) was first in households (4.4/08), adults 18-49 (2.5/09) and adults 18-34 (2.2/08); it was second in both viewers (7.35m) and adults 25-54 (2.9/09, -0.1 behind ABC). Compared to BIG BROTHER 11, Thursday's premiere (on the same night last year), CBS was up +4% in adults 25-54 (from 2.8/09), +9% in adults 18-49 (from 2.3/08), +22% in adults 18-34 (from 1.8/07), even in households and added +750,000 viewers (from 6.60m, +11%).

? BIG BROTHER THURSDAY notched its best premiere in viewers since BIG BROTHER 8 (July 5, 2007), best in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 ratings since BIG BROTHER 9 (February 12, 2008) and best adults 18-34 delivery since BIG BROTHER 7 (July 6, 2006).

? BIG BROTHER SUNDAY (P) was first in households (4.0/07), viewers (7.04m), adults 25-54 (2.9/08), adults 18-49 (2.4/08) and adults 18-34 (2.0/07). Compared to last year's BIG BROTHER 11 SUNDAY premiere (on the same night last year, delayed 12 minutes by late- running golf), BIG BROTHER 12 SUNDAY was up +3% in households (from 3.9/07), +12% in adults 25-54 (from 2.6/07), +20% in adults 18-49 (from 2.0/06), +33% in adults 18-34 (from 1.5/05) and added +750,000 viewers (from 6.29m, +12%).

? FLASHPOINT was first in households (3.8/07) and viewers (5.90m), finishing second in adults 25-54 (1.6/05) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (1.1/04, with NBC). FLASHPOINT won its time slot in viewers for the sixth consecutive week. Compared to last week, FLASHPOINT was up +6% in households (from 3.6/07), +7% in adults 25-54 (from 1.5/05), +10% in adults 18-49 (from 1.0/04) and added +330,000 viewers (from 5.57m, +6%).

? FLASHPOINT - SPECIAL (S) was first in households (3.9/07) and viewers (6.04m); it was tied for second in adults 25-54 (1.8/05, with NBC, -0.1 behind ABC).
