The CW Delivers Its Best Thursday in Adults 18-34, Women 18-34 Since Feb. 4, 2010

VAMPIRE DIARIES Ranks Second in the Hour with Women 18-34, Persons 12-34 and Females 12-34; VAMPIRE DIARIES Tops "FlashForward" in Adults 18-49

May 7, 2010 (Burbank, CA) - The CW's freshman hit THE VAMPIRE DIAIRES delivered its best ratings in over 3 months (since Feb. 4, 2010) in women 18-34 (2.7/10), adults 18-34 (2.0/7), women 18-49 (2.2/7), according to national live plus same day Nielsen ratings for Thursday, May 6, 2010. VAMPIRE DIARIES improved week-to-week by 13% in women 18-34, 11% in adults 18-34 and 5% in women 18-49.

The CW also posted its best Thursday night in over 3 months (since Feb. 4, 2010) in women 18-34 (2.1/7) and adults 18-34 (1.7/6).

VAMPIRE DIARIES ranked second in the 8:00-9:00p.m. hour among women 18-34, females 12-34 (2.6/10), persons 12-34 (1.9/7) and female teens (2.4/9). VAMPIRE DIARIES again beat ABC's "FlashForward" in their key demo of adults 18-49 (1.6/5).
