"LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN" DELIVERS ITS LARGEST AUDIENCE SINCE PREMIERE WEEK
"The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" Posts its Largest Margin of Victory
in Viewers over "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" and Matches Largest Margin
in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54
CBS's LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN delivered its largest audience (4.53m) since premiere week while LATE LATE SHOW with CRAIG FERGUSON posted its largest viewer win over "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Feb. 5.
LATE SHOW posted a 3.2/08 in households with an average of 4.53m viewers, up +19% in households (from 2.7/07) and +18% in viewers (from 3.83m) compared to the same week last year. LATE SHOW was up +7% in adults 25-54 (1.5/06 from 1.4/06) and was even in both adults 18-49 (1.1/05) and adults 18-34 (0.7/03) compared to the same week last year.
LATE SHOW posted its best viewer delivery since the week ending Sept. 25, 2009 (premiere week), best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 ratings since the week ending Dec. 18, 2009, and best adults 18-34 rating since the week ending Dec. 25, 2009.
THE LATE LATE SHOW with CRAIG FERGUSON, with a mix of rebroadcasts (Monday to Wednesday) and first-run episodes (Thursday and Friday), posted a 1.5/05 in households with 1.94m viewers. LATE LATE SHOW was up +25% in adults 18-34 (0.5/03 from 0.4/02), even in both adults 25-54 (0.8/04) and adults 18-49 (0.6/03) compared to the same week last year.
THE LATE LATE SHOW beat "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" by +67% in households (vs. 0.9/03), +64% in viewers (vs. 1.18m), +33% in adults 25-54 (vs. 0.6/03), +20% in adults 18-49 (vs. 0.5/03) and tied in adults 18-34. LATE LATE SHOW delivered its largest margin of victory to date against "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" in both households and viewers, matching its largest margin of victory in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.
