CBS Wins Wednesday in All Key Ratings Measures
CBS was THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE on Wednesday as the 2010 awards broadcast delivered its best ratings since 2007, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Jan. 6.
THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS (S) was first in households (6.8/11), viewers (10.74m), adults 25-54 (3.9/09), adults 18-49 (3.4/09) and adults 18-34 (2.9/09). Compared to last year's event (on the same night last year), THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS was up +13% in both households (from 6.0/10) and adults 18-49 (from 3.0/08), +8% in adults 25-54 (from 3.6/08), +32% in adults 18-34 (from 2.2/06) and added +1.33m viewers (from 9.41m, +14%). This was the best delivery for THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS since 2007 in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49, since 2006 in adults 18-34.
At 8:00 PM, I GET THAT A LOT (S) was first in households (5.2/08), viewers (8.50m), adults 25-54 (3.4/09), adults 18-49 (2.9/08) and adults 18-34 (2.3/07).
For the night, CBS was first in households (6.3/10), viewers (10.00m), adults 25-54 (3.7/09), adults 18-49 (3.2/09) and adults 18-34 (2.7/08). CBS was first on Wednesday for the 13th time in 16 weeks in viewers and adults 25-54 and first in adults 18-49 for the 12th time in 16 weeks.
